Large historic mansion near Hythe, Folkestone, Canterbury and the channel tunnel, an ideal place to set off from for your trip to the continent. Walking distance from Hythe and Saltwood and 8 minutes walk from Sandling railway Station. 1hr london
Built in the 1460s the house is set in a quiet valley. There are three double rooms and a newly fitted bathroom along the corridor.
The 40 foot music room with Arts and Crafts windows overlooking the garden. The snug sitting room with its huge inglenook fireplace with logs crackling in the open hearth, always lit from the autumn onwards. There are local walks to the sea or into ancient forests nearby. Lovely pubs serving locally brewed ales and locally sourced, home cooked food. Kent is the Garden of England and this house is perfectly placed to enjoy all the county has to offer.

Sometimes, if we are home, we are delighted to welcome guests as part of the family, but if you want privacy, the house is big enough to disappear into a quiet, tranquil and comfortable world of relaxation.
