Nora's home was elegant, spacious, and full of beautiful, natural light. It made for a comfortable and relaxing weekend in the Catskills, and I left feeling totally rejuvenated. Nora was attentive and considerate throughout our entire stay. Besides the house itself, we enjoyed discovering the town of Narrowsburg, which is full of smart boutiques and a great restaurant. Thanks to Nora and Michael for a wonderful time!

Nora is a warm and gracious host. Our family loved Narrowsburg and her lovely property.

Nora's home is beautiful and spacious. She was an excellent host and very accommodating to ensure the best possible stay. The living room is very open with a peaceful view. Definitely the home is walkable to the town, but there isn't much town to explore... However, I am told there's a lot more going on in the summertime. Hiking trails within 15-20 minutes and would recommend the Tusten Mountain Trail. Thanks Nora for sharing your beautiful house!

The house was great, even better than the photos make it look! The hosts were very friendly and helpful, quick to respond. The house is also a 7 min walk to the small town where there are a few shops and places to eat, along with a great view of the Delaware River. Thank you for a great stay!

Nora's home is lovely. The great room is inviting and offers you expansive views of the wetlands out back (including some wildlife!), plus a cozy fire to one side of the room, and a very large TV on the other. It was very comfortable for a group of 6. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils -- we cooked/served a large meal with ease and space. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean, tastefully decorated. The home was warm and cozy. Nora was kind, prompt, communicative -- a great host. The caretaker was also friendly and helpful, he lives in the ground floor basement of the house (separate entrance). We were new to Narrowsburg and were absolutely charmed by the small town, and it's natural beauty. There are a handful of neat shops and a couple of hip dining spots a 7-min walk away. The location is perfect for city dwellers who need a good dose of small town living.

Nora's home is the perfect city escape for a cosy and stylish week-end. Prior to our arrival, Nora was incredibly responsive to our emails and very accommodating to ad hoc requests (late checkout for example). The pictures don't do justice to the house! The living/dining room is huge, yet super comfortable thanks to great couches and a family friendly dining table. The master bedroom is beautifully appointed tasteful furnitures, en-suite bathroom with a great jacuzzi shower and bathtub overlooking the backyard. The toiletries provided were of great quality and plentiful (soap, shampoo, condition, lotion, oil, etc.!). The listing states that there is no hairdryer but there is at least one is the master bath. The two other bedrooms were big as well and the mattresses very comfortable. The kitchen is appointed with a beautiful rough stone counter and modern (maybe even new?) appliances that looked that they had never been used. Nora provides all her guests with a great set of plates and utensils, from wine glasses to ice cream bowls. The backyard is beautiful although we mostly stayed on the deck (that has a grill but we didn't use it). To access the deck, there is a flight of stairs down (to keep in mind if traveling with children or people with reduced mobility) but it's very manageable to go back and forth between the deck and the kitchen to enjoy meals and happy hours outside. Nora lives on the property on the ground floor of the house (completely separated with its standalone entrance, etc) but we would never notice her presence during our stay. It's a very discrete neighbor and we were glad to know she was there in case of emergencies. The town of Narrowsburg is a beautiful little town with a quirky and charming main street filled with great design stores (Nest), antique shops, apothecaries (the Pharmacy) and restaurants/coffee shops. My friends and I had dinner at the Heron (highly recommended for some great cocktails and delicious bites.. although at NYC prices - still worth it). The home is 5 miles away from river access to the Delaware Water Gap and the start of beautiful hiking trails (on the way, you can pick up canoes, kayaks and tubes for a fun outdoor afternoon) and walking distance to the town's Main Street (was great to leave the car at the house to go for dinner). There are neighbors around but we barely heard them (we heard some motorbikes on the other side of the pond that is front of Nora's house) but still a very peaceful and quiet time. All in all, a wonderful and warm welcome is a house that truly feels like a home to its guests. Thank you Nora for a great stay!
