There are wide open spaces for children and the young at heart to run around, ride bikes and play.
Interaction with guests
We live and work on the farmstead and are available anytime to assist guests with any queries or local advice. We are happy to engage and interact with our guest as much or as little as they would like.
Other things to note
Point Glorious farmstead is a 22 Acre property in the Noosa Hinterland with a variety of fruit and nut trees. Avocado, Mangoes, Lychees, Pecan nuts, Oranges, Mandarins, Paw Paws and Bananas. Guests are welcome to pick and enjoy the fresh fruit when in season.
The property shares its boundries with Mapleton National Park and an old famous Avocado farm and Beef cattle grazing land.
There are walking tracks throughout the property ranging from easy, to difficult - including a challenging climb to the top that boasts magnificent views of the valley and mountain ranges. Some of the more challenging tracks are seasonal and may not not be accessible during wet weather. Contact us if a climb is on your agenda and we will check the accessibility of the tracks.
Pet Dogs are welcome! We ask guests to make sure they are under owner control at all times and to please keep them out of the Tent.
Please contact us and let us know if you plan to bring your pet so we can make the appropriate arrangements.
Point Glorious Farmstead is a quiet and peaceful oasis - we would appreciate a respectful attitude to the environment and other guests.
If you book the campground for a private event exclusively for your group - of course then you can Party and make some noise!
Dogs are allowed on the property but please ensure they are under control and perhaps on a leash. Being a large property in a rural environment, they could wander off into the distance and beyond!
We discovered our little slice of tropical paradise about 10 years ago. Working 9 to 5 was never going to be the answer to our dreams. So as the saying goes:- "...instead of wondering when your next vacation is, maybe you should set up a life you don't need to escape from!" We did just that! We traded in the 'Shirt and Tie' for Shorts and T-Shirt, found Point Glorious Farmstead in the Noosa Hinterland and never looked back!
Now we enjoy the relaxed and layed back warm and sunny tropical lifestyle of the Sunshine Coast. But we're not greedy... we love to share this wonderful place with everybody - family and friends. To us there are no strangers, just people we haven't met yet.
We live and work on the property with our 2 beautiful kids, Carolyn 15 and Chris 13, who constantly fill our lives with action packed fun and adventure. They are great hosts in their own right - so if you bring your kids, Carolyn & Chris would enjoy showing them around.
We have two very friendly farm dogs named Jack and Beau, two cats named Asher and Misty, and a couple of Alpacas.
With 22 acres, there is no such thing as a crowd... there's plenty of privacy and space to spread out.
Come and stay with us for an experience you will long remember.
We hope to see you here soon...
