This charming and suggestive attic is perfect to host up to two people and a baby. You will benefit of a wonderful view on the Madonie mountains and on the medieval village of Isnello.
Longtime inhabitated by a famous writer, our attic acquired a unique charm given by frescos that cover the parental room ceiling and the living room walls as well as by many art pieces that decorate the interior.
Perfect to rest, or as a starting point to go hiking on the Madonie, we are sure you will love it!

The space

Entering our attic will be like entering a unique and personalized artist refuge. The space is divided into a parental room and a large living room with an American kitchen giving onto a balcony. From there you will benefits of an amazing clear view over the valley and the Madonie Mountains, as well as on the suggestive medieval village of Isnello, considered one of the most authentic and beautiful village of the island.
What makes unique the spaces are the peintures and the pieces of arts that decorate all the interior.
The house is at the inside of a large family farm and hence allows for a private parking. The propriety also provides a wide space around the house which gives directly on our vineyards and olive and fruits groves.

We got a great welcome by Giovanni's aunt, who provided us with a cup of espresso, home-made cantucci, and fresh apples and tomatoes from the garden. The apartment is large (although the ceiling is a bit low), and the view from the living room is wonderful. It is a perfect place to explore the small town of Isnello and the surrounding hills.

This place was one of the high points of our trip to Sicily. We recieved a very warm welcome by Giovanni's aunt Maria after getting clear directions to Isnello from Giovanni. We loved the beautiful view from the spacious kitchen/livingroom over the valley below. The apartment is very nicely decorated with lots of art, which is done in a nice and balanced way. It has a very homely feeling to it. Just perfect to unwind. Isnello is a quite town with just a few shops, bars and a couple of restaurants, but we enjoyed the quietness of the little sicilian hilltown. We were probably the only tourists there. You will need your own transportation to get around and as we had a rental car we used Isnello as a base to discover de Parco delle Madonie area. Thanks Giovanni and family for your hospitality, you made our holiday memorable.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in Giovanni's mountain apartment - which was very clean, with fresh bed linen, and a very warm welcome from his family - Maria gave us fresh farm eggs and olive oil from the garden and welcomed us with a great Italian coffee and some of her home made Easter cookies - such a treat! The views are stunning from the apartment, and very near some spectacular walks in the Merodi mountains. Thank you for a special time in Sicily!

The appartment is beautiful, full with art and great views from the balcony. The welcome by the family of Giovanni was very pleasant. the position of charming Isnello is quite good. At one hand an easy access to the mountains. At the other hand the distance to Cefalu is not far

Our stay in Giovanni's apartment was absolutely fantastic! When we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by Giovanni's family, who insisted we join them for lunch - which was delicious. The apartment was perfect. The view of the madonie from the veranda was incredible, and it was perfectly situated for us to explore the town of Isnello. I would most definitely like to return and thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone keen on visiting Isnello, the Parc Madonie, and the beautiful beaches near Cefalu.

Hi everyone!

I'm Giovanni, I'm Italian and I live and work in Paris, France, since 2010. I live with my girlfriend, who is from Venezuela, and together we often spend part of our holydays in Sicily, in my family villas, which we also offer between our listings for hosting AirBnB travelers. Do not hesitate to give a look at them, Sicily is Sicily and that is Beautiful, I'm sure you will be enchanted by our Villa. My family and I will do our best to welcome you and feel the most comfortable, always trying to answer your needs and take care of the details.

I discovered AirBnB some years ago and since than I do not hesitate to consult it each time I'm leaving for holyday. I really love travelling and when I say travelling, I mean travelling a lot, visiting different countries and discovering new cultures. Travelling has become an important part of my life and AirBnB is the perfect companion to pursuit that achievement.
What else can I say about me? Well, I also love food! Travelling means discovering new dishes and flavors. What would a vacation be without the marvelous art that is cooking?
Third but not least, I love books, mainly fantasy book. Again, that probably does one whole thing with travelling: on the plane, on a train, on a boat… each travel gives you time to think and to read and to discover new books!

Well that’s enough speaking about me. I really hope you will consider our listings for your next holydays. Knowing this tiny little about me will maybe help you to choose my place over another and do not hesitate to write me for any question you might have.

Your future host (I hope), Giovanni
