We are 1 mile from Moreton in Marsh. There is a footpath over the fields to get to us. There are buses and trains and if you are driving there is space to park.

The tent has a proper double mattress plus 2 small single beds (only really suitable for children). There are electric lights and USB sockets.

We supply bedding/towels/gas stove/gas/cutlery/crockery/pans/kettle and the tent is on a small campsite with 2 toilets and a shower.

Take away breakfast sometimes available on request.

The space

The tent is on our small campsite (max. 5 caravans and 4 tents) and there are 2 toilets and a shower.

Guest access

There is a footpath around the farm which you are welcome to use and we always have animals nearby (horses, sheep, dogs, cat).

Interaction with guests

We normally just let guests enjoy the camping experience by themselves but we are around most of the time (come up to the farmhouse) if there are any problems.

Other things to note

Sorry, no dogs...

Great stay. The bell tent is located on a working farm. Our daughter loved seeing all the animals and Simon is very amiable to letting you wander. Tent is cosy, beds are comfortable. It is a working farm so there is the usual farm equipment, tractors etc around. It's great waking up to the sounds of cows mooing and roosters crowing! Moreton town is about a half hour walk away across some fields

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the bell tent, but there were some issues with it. On the plus side, it was a nice experience of camping but with all amenities around you, the bed was great and very comfy, and there were good cooking and toilet facilities. We had a fantastic evening of star spotting with very little light pollution. On the negative side, the main issue was the black mould on the inside of the tent. Initially this was more a disappointment around how it looked, but we're quickly worried that this could pose a health hazard (which was confirmed after a (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) search). Being pregnant this was a concern to me and my partner, but I do think in general there are issues with this and it should be addressed. The only other negative was the noise from the lane which was directly behind the tent - this was just farm traffic, but caused us a bit of irritation on the Sunday morning. Not a biggy, but worth considering if you're looking for something that feels really secluded and quiet.

I'm not a camper and this stay only confirmed that for me. The toilets and shower were pretty clean but it was really cold in the tent. Nicely furnished but the mould spots on the canvass a little off-putting. Maybe an inside layer would have hidden them and provided a bit more warmth? The noise from the farm machinery, which passed very close by the tent (apart from a hedge), coupled with the cow mooing all night didn't make for a decent sleep. I realise it's a working farm but the proximity to the farm entrance makes the noise really pronounced. It was great that pots, pans, stove etc were provided. I'm sure others will enjoy it and I should just stick to hotels.

Lovely quiet spot with beautiful surroundings. The tent was well equipped and the seating area outside is a great addition. The toilets and shower were well maintained and clean. Sarah was a friendly laid back host who made us feel very welcome.

Great nights staying here. Place was well described, easy to check in. Tent itself was more spacious than we expected, had standing room as well as powerpoints and a decent lamp, along with utensils etc for cooking. All in all a great stay, would highly recommend.

It's a very good experience with Sarah's camp. The location is great if you are driving and love farms. If not, dragging a luggage from the town to the farm is a bit challenging, but Sarah was so kind that she offered us a drive. Everything else was just as descriped as in the introduction on airbnb.
