Great location in centre of town, easy check-in and checkout process nearby meant everything was very smooth. The apartment has been renovated and is clean and modern. The bathroom is very nice, the toilet a bit small!

Despite a difficult start (late check-in caused by delay in arrival of cleaners to clean the apartment after previous guests), we quickly settled in and found we were very central to everything in Val Thorens. Supermarkets below, bus station around the corner, shops, restaurants, bars on the doorstep etc, etc. The location cannot be faulted. We could ski back right to the front door. The ski locker is great, kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfy and duvets/pillows are new & cosy. We had a couple of issues which were quickly sorted by Adrien, and very much appreciated. In fact communication with Adrien was perfect throughout. However I feel I must mention a few things for future guests. 1) If you are over 6ft tall, you will struggle to sit on the toilet with the door closed. There is approx 20cm from the front of the toilet seat to the door when closed! As for using the loo with your ski gear on - forget it! 2) The wifi modem was broken so we purchased local wifi from Internet-ici Val Thorens at €19.90 for 7 days. Total waste of time and money! Virtually impossible to get a connection, and when you complained via email (not by phone because it was too expensive) they refused to accept there was a problem or process a refund. Therefore if you need wifi, try another provider.... 3) The Arcelle building is served by 2 lifts which seem to always be full, unless it's midday when no-one else is in. Arrival and departure day (Sat) is a nightmare if you have bags, skis & boots and need the lift. Thankfully Adrien's apartment is on the 2nd floor so we didn't bother using the lift in the end. Much quicker to use the stairs! 4) if you are travelling by car, make sure you pre-book your parking online if you want to be in the covered car park nearby. Otherwise, like us, you will be in one of the overflow outdoor car parks, outside town, served by a regular bus service. Biggest problem was digging our car out of a metre of snow! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. Adrien's apartment is compact, cosy, central, convenient and overall great for a week of skiing and enjoying everything VT has to offer!
