Beautiful, spacious home with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, one with jacuzzi; huge kitchen with island. 5-6 blocks from 2 red line metro stops. Walk to restaurants, Whole Foods and Friendship Heights shopping center. Centrally located; piano, fireplace and deck. Near American Univ. and Natl Cathedral.
One visitor exclaimed, "Being in your house is like being on Prozac." It's a very open, spacious house with a real sense of peace and calm. The house has a very open flow, with hardwood floors throughout, except in the bathroom, where the floors are marble, a huge kitchen with an island and sitting Area. This is where everyone seems to congregate. Off of the kitchen is a deck with a new patio table and chairs for six. All around are friendly friendly neighbor's. The house is extremely well built so sound doesn't carry from room to room.
The large master bedroom suite has a king-size bed and en suite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and double sink; the middle, smaller bedroom has two twin beds; and the very large front bedroom has a queen and twin bed. Between these two bedrooms is a full bathroom with a tub and shower. Water pressure throughout the house is excellent.
There's a good sized living room with a lovely entry area surrounded by windows, containing a piano. It has the largest coat closet you've ever seen. The living room has a fireplace and stairs that lead to the second floor. Next is a good-sized dining room with brand new chairs for six at the table and two extra chairs for additional guests. Off of the dining room is a guest bathroom and entry to the basement, which has a new heating-AC system, 3-year old water heater for plenty of hot water and a washer and dryer., and room to store your luggage.
All rooms get plenty of light.

I'm a semi-retired woman from Washington DC. I've lived in the magical town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico since 2008 and have loved every minute of it. Occasionally, I still do consulting in international development in education reform, which takes me to countries all over the world. I also enjoy traveling for pleasure, so enjoy seeing the many fascinating sites in Mexico and around the world.
