Somersby is an utterly tranquil spot in the Lincolnshire Wolds and we loved our stay in the Cowshed, a delightful, fully equipped cottage. Country walks are on your doorstep and the market towns of Louth and Horncastle are only a short drive away.

The Cow Shed is a delightful, comfortable, fully equipped cottage in a tiny historic village in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Everything you will ever need is provided including a welcome pack of bread, butter, bacon, milk, eggs etc. There is a huge comfy bed with quality linen and a lovely sitting room with comfortable seating. The cottage was perfectly situated for us to explore Lincolnshire and the host provides a comprehensive folder full of information regarding things to do and see. We definitely recommend The Cow Shed

The Cowshed is a fantastic find! Just near to the church in Somersby and a rural idyl. Great facilities, clean and tidy and well equipped. Jane was very easy to communicate with and the accommodation itself is ideal as a base for exploring the Wolds, Tennyson country and the Lincolnshire coast. Highly recommend!

We found Jane's place, the Cowshed, to be very spacious, clean and relaxing. Though it is in a quiet small village you aren't far off an excellent cafe, meat suppliers and restaurant, all found on the A158 at Harrington. The cafe and meat suppliers are found by turning left on the A158 just a few hundred yards down the road on your right side and the restaurant is found by turning right on the A158 just a few hundred yards down the road. Apart from the tranquil area the broadband speeds are acceptable so if you really do need to stay connected you can. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and we certainly hope to stay again, especially when the weather gets warmer. Thankyou Jane
