A lovely welcoming, clean, cosy little place. Perfect for our small family of four. Maggie's communication was excellent. We loved the little folder of suggestions for food, activities etc.

This is a really clean, comfortable and cosy house. There is a great grocery shop up the road and Mt Wellington is a stunning constant presence.

Very nice home with everything you might need. Very clean. You feel at home immediately. Fantastic shopping and restaurants (we tested the Asian as well as the Italian) just a few steps away. Don't miss to read "Kudelka and First Dog's Spiritual Journey" which we found in the loving room, ideally before your trip to Hobart. We loved the book, we loved the stay. If we come back to Hobart we will try to stay in this house again.

Maggie's beautiful South Hobart home was an absolute delight! It's in a super easy location, about a 15-20 min walk ($6 Uber) to Salamanca, waterfront, pubs & restaurants, bottleshops, everything. The house itself was spotless, comfy beds, GREAT heating on v cold Hobart nights, kitchen was well equipped, cute wee balconies, just gorgeous. Maggie also responded very promptly to any enquiries and kept me up to date with everything. She also has LOTS of information about what to do and see in Hobart, maps and a lot of local knowledge waiting for you when you arrive and some essentials in the fridge and pantry. Great value for us 5 as well as we were on a bit of a budget. Worked out to be only $12 more a night than if we'd stayed at a hostel. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be staying here again next time we head south. This was my first booking with airbnb and i feel i may have unrealistically high expectations for future bookings with anyone else! Thanks Maggie! :) B

A very beautiful and comfortable place for holiday. Maggie is easy to communicate with and responsive. The house is clean and spacious. Instructions are super clear. Bedrooms are comfortable. Wide range of cooking utensils are provided, we enjoyed cooking there! We have a really great time there. We will definitely come back.

Maggie was a lovely host, very easy to communicate with and helpful with the local knowledge. House was tucked away, quiet and beautiful to stay in, highly recommend staying at this property.

Very cool part of Hobart - we easily walked to Salamanca markets and into the city from here. Surrounded by good food shops/bakery/butcher and cafes. The house is well appointed and clean with everything we needed including good kitchen and a great warm shower & bath (which was important after playing in the snow up the road on Mt Wellington). Stairs could be a problem for elderly but it was a cool little base for family of four to explore Hobart.

Jon and I live in lovely South Hobart with our two lovely children. Jon's born and bred Tasmanian; I'm an interloper. We've lived all over the place, but we think Tasmania has it all - stunning landscapes, fresh air, beautiful people, art, whisky, wine and cheese! We loved sharing this place and welcoming people to our airbnb property to experience some of it for themselves. Trust me, you'll have a great time.
