My place is close to public transport, the city centre, cafes, restaurants, Lower Barrakka Gardens, The Malta Experience, mini market, market.

You’ll love my place because of the views, the location, the people, the ambiance, the outdoors space, the unique decor, the large space, the shared terrace with stunning views, traditional Maltese balcony.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers, friends.

The space

Traditional meets modern.

The large living area has a flat screen television and enjoys a beautiful high ceilings and Maltese balcony. An extra fold-able bed can be added for the 3rd person, if arranged in advanced.

There is an extensive dining area with plenty of seating in the richly furnished apartment.

There is a fully equipped kitchen on-site.
Bathroom with shower is located next to the bedroom.

The apartment forms part of a traditional block of only three apartments.

The apartment is located on the forth floor. Therefore please note that you will need to take stairs to get into this apartment.

Please note that you will need to climb a number of stairs to get to the roof terrace but the views are worth it :)

Guest access

Guests have their own private property in a quiet area which is close to all amenities. Guests also have access to the shared roof terrace with beautiful sea views

Other things to note

Kindly note that should guests be arriving later than 18:00 a taxi
transfer will need to be arranged for them at an additional cost of €25
for up to 3 persons and €35 for 4 to 8 persons . The taxi driver will
provide the key to the apartment, and a detailed check-in will be
undertaken at 09:00 the following morning (unless different arrangements were made)

Kindly note that the bar next door can be noisy!

The last weekend of July or first weekend of August, there will be the feast of St Dominic being celebrated in the property's vicinity. Kindly note that the celebrations tend to get quite loud. This will mean not only church activities, but occasional street parties and general merriment. Feasts are common throughout Malta, particularly in summer, with a different one every weekend. I just thought I would let you know - it is quite an experience.

Firstly, thank you for being great hosts. Isabel (?) met us upon arrival and quickly got us settled in and provided some great information up front. The room was very clean and tidy and very spacious. We particularly liked the fact that it was one of Valletta's more original buildings and style. The location was spot on and a great introduction to Valletta. In terms of improvements it would be great to see sachets of sugar and long-life milk made available upon arrival to get your guests started. We were surprised to see tea and coffee without any milk and sugar. While not absolutely necessary the inclusion of air-conditioning would be a nice addition although the fans worked well. Thank you for such a wonderful introduction to our Malta trip - it set such a positive tone for the whole holiday. Paul & Rachael

This place is great! Perfect location- 5 minutes walking from the main part of town and a 10 min walk from the bus. It’s a very spacious and unique space. Totally feels like a true Malta experience. The only con is that there is a church right across the way that rings its bell starting at 6 AM each morning. Bring earplugs! The windows do not block out the sound. Otherwise, totally recommend!

The apartment is beautiful exactly as described. We made a few meals there and it had pretty much everything you need. The location is perfect, right in the heart of valletta, with shops not far away. The hosts were helpful when moving in. Though the internet in the flat didn't work, you could connect to the one below. I'm sure they will be fixing this soon. There is a bar below that is quite loud, but when you're in the bedroom you can't hear them at all so it didn't bother us. The whole place is stunning, really worth for value. The roof top was so beautiful overlooking two cathedrals.

The Good: The place is gorgeous, spacious authentic, looks like its pictures and has an amazing view. The location was also super central. Thomas was responsive and even arranged an airport taxi pick up upon arrival. No complaints there! The Bad: No AC as other reviewers mentioned. My fault for not realizing how important it was but it seriously was impossible to sleep in 35 degree summer weather with just 2 fans. The Ugly: Speaking of - I got less than 4 hours of sleep every night here. Between the heat, a night nightclub blasting ‘utz-utz’ techno music till 2 AM every morning and the church literally next door blasting its bells at 6 AM to 9 AM non-stop (yes, non-stop, not one of those ‘once every hour sort of bells’, I’ve stayed in close to a hundred AirBnBs and this was one of the worst sleeping experiences of my life. When I raised it with my host, he merely pointed out that he wrote in the description that there was a festival going on that was 'loud'. Yes, fair enough; but as a visitor in a new country, it’s a host’s responsibility to disclose exactly what that entails and the specifics of said loudness rather than assuming I would somehow know. More importantly, he didn’t offer a single apology or sympathize with the situation. I’m very easy with my reviews (almost always 5 *) but I found the lack of empathy shown to be very ungracious. Is it a nice place? Yes, but by the end of my stay I would’ve traded it all for a decent night’s sleep.

Response from Casa Rooms:
First of all, we would like to thank you for you feedback. Also, we would like to apologise if our response with regards to your situation did not meet your expectations. It was not our intention to show a lack of sympathy towards your feelings about this matter. As mentioned in the description when there is a feast in progress, the bar tends to be noisier as there is more activity in the area.
