Beautiful home!! Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Extremely close to the city with Uber and Lyft not being difficult to obtain. This is the perfect home for a weekend getaway or business trips to the city. The backyard is a gem!! We grilled out back 2 of our 3 nights and enjoyed it. There is ample seating around the home and it was easy to keep clean. One of the king bedrooms is off the kitchen and is pretty far from the bathroom for the guest that stays in there, plus that room gets warm at night (take this into consideration when booking with friends or as a group). The other king is an ensuite. The queen room and twin bunk bed room are both next to the hall bathroom. There is plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the company of family and close friends.

This is a great house to stay with family. Beautiful area, lots of toys and games to keep kids entertained. We had the best family trip and enjoyed the backyard with a wonderful barbecue. We are already looking forward to our next stay here.

This home was immaculate, well appointed, and tastefully modern- and staying here made our trip especially memorable! This home is light, bright, airy and open- loved the skylights and natural light that poured in. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable, we all slept great here. We have 4 children ages 9-13... they loved the game closet, the video gaming system, and Netflix before and after our days of exploring the Portland area. We were visiting family in nearby West Linn, and this location was perfect! Close to the city of Portland and a 1 hour drive from Mt Hood where we enjoyed alpine sliding. We also hiked at Silver Falls State Park, visited Wings and Waves waterpark, and went white water rafting on the Deschutes River. It was such a memorable trip to the Pacific NW! Samantha was easy to reach and communicate when we had questions, gave us great restaurant recommendations, and truly made this trip extra special. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for opening your home to us!

This home was large enough for 8 people to sleep comfortably if two or three are children as the bunk beds sleep three children. It also has seating for 8 at the kitchen table and 6 bar stools at the kitchen counter. If you are light sensitive for sleeping then this is not the home for you. There are only sheer window coverings on bedroom windows with no shades underneath so the light filters in at night and as soon as the sun is up. It is very hard for children to fall asleep in these rooms. The owners have a lot of personal belongings in the home so there are few places to put things. There is a small clothing rack in the master bedroom to store clothing for your trip. The linens are not excess but they are enough if they are present when you arrive. The back yard is nice but there are only two chairs and a small table on the patio, so not everyone in the group can enjoy time together on the patio. The windows in the front of the house cannot be opened because there are no screens on them so you can't get cross air flow but there is a good air conditioning system if it's hot.

Response from Samantha:
Lena, thanks for the feedback about the curtains--no one else has mentioned it and you are the first person to give us that perspective! We will look into alternative window coverings.

Samantha's home was an absolute joy to stay in. We traveled to Portland with a family of 9, 7 adults and 2 young children, and this was accommodated us perfectly. The floor plan is open, which offers a fantastic area to gather for meals, or to just hangout and play some games, which were also available for all age levels. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and clean linen, the house has nice hard flooring witch allowed for easy cleanup, the décor and colors were welcoming and calming. This was our first visit to an airbnd and we could not have been happier. If you are staying in or near the Portland area, we would HIGHLY recommend this home.

This was the very first time we rented and it was fantastic. Communication with Samantha was easy and responsive. The home itself was so comfortable that it felt like being in your own home. The check-in/check-out process was simple. There is a closet filled with toys, etc. and my grandsons were entertained. Having one bedroom away from the rest was very nice. Also got some great decorating ideas. Definitely 5 stars.

My family traveled to Portland for a family vacation. Going the Airbnb route was a better value than getting multiple hotel rooms. The house was large and allowed everyone to have their own room. The inside was clean, spacious and very modern. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood than made us feel safe and was located just off the I-5 it was easy for use to navigate anywhere we wanted to go. We were able to spend time at Cannon Beach (1.5 hours from the house), hike the waterfall loop in the Columbia River Gorge (45 minutes from the house) and check out what downtown Portland had to offer (20 minutes from the house). Overall the entire experience was great. The host made us feel welcome and if we ever make it back to this area we would definitely stay here again.
