We loved the location and the view! The pool was so relaxing and inviting and we had it all to ourselves whenever we used it. We loved the big deck for watching sunsets and drinking our morning coffee. The bed was comfortable and accommodations simple yet more than enough. Jo-Ann arranged car service to and from the Casa so we didn't have to do a thing, they stopped at a big grocery store on the way where we picked up food and drinks and beer - honestly we didn't eat/drink much of it because we enjoyed so many of the vendors and local restaurants. All in all it was a great trip. We would definitely love to return sometime!

I stayed in the Caracolita suit which has the most incredible terrace and view. The suite was the perfect size, totally comfortable with the basics that I needed. Joann was an incredible host answering my many emails regarding the property etc and invited me to family and friends Easter dinner in her back yard which I attended and had a lovely time. Mount was very private and I was not bothered by anyone. I cannot wait to go back.

A wonderful spot and a great value. Gringo Hill is an easy walk from town & the view from our place was amazing! We had everything we needed for a great vacation. We especially loved coming home at night and having Lucky the dog greet us at the gate. Thank you Jo-Ann!

Casita Caracolita was absolutely lovely. We stayed there for four nights and it was perfect. The bed was very comfortable, and the view out of the window and jungle sounds when you wake up are amazing!! The grounds and pool area are clean and well kept. We didn't meet Jo-Ann until the last day of our stay but she was super friendly and accommodating- especially in the weeks leading up to the trip. Thank you Jo-Ann! We are already dreaming of another trip to Sayulita and Caracolita :)

We had such a wonderful trip to Sayulita and a lot of that was thanks to our stay at Casita Caracolita. The location is perfect, 5-10 minutes to the main square. The deck was beautiful with a nice view and Lucky, the friendly dog on premise welcomed us with a wagging tail. I loved him. JoAnn was very helpful, the electricity went out in the whole town one night and she brought us candles. Internet connection was great for those who require it. Overall I would definitely recommend this spot!

The place was clean and open for us when we arrived. We were greeted by the gardener but had good communication with JoAnn before we arrived. Lucky, the dog, was friendly and liked to hang out with us or the other guests. The view from up high was nice; not only could we see the ocean, we could see parts of Sayulita that are off the usual route. The home was very convenient to the Plaza; it was right at the top of the staircase to Gringo Hill. The kitchen seemed appropriately stocked for our uses which was cereal, coffee and fruit. There was a grill but we ate out since the food in town was so fabulous. We were there at Christmas time and the locals' neighborhood was very loud in terms of celebration. With the windows closed, and the air on, we could sleep just fine. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Unfortunately, the sink in the bathroom had a bad smell. We learned to use the stopper to cover it (and thus the smell) and that helped, but it took us two days to figure that out. Perhaps that can be addressed more permanently. The pool was nice, we used it once.

Response from Jo-Ann:
It is unfortunate that you did not communicate the issue with my maintenance man who is onsite daily, and also through an email with me, to which I respond very quickly. I can not resolve an issue if I dont know about it. In checking with my maintenance man, he said you did not complain about the problem during your stay. I did send you an email asking if everything was going well, and you told me nothing of the problem. I would have dealt with it immediately. The noise concern, well, its Mexico, and it isnt a quiet country especially at festive times. They are an exuberant country and have a wonderful culture!

I live in Mexico, at the property in Sayulita. I feel very fortunate to be waking up each morning in paradise! I like to walk the beach, volunteer at the school reading with the little kids, ride my horse, entertain friends, and just enjoy spending time at the casa. I enjoy meeting our guests and making them feel at home. I have met alot of amazing people over the past 7 years. Caracol has great staff that look after the property meticulously, making your stay comfortable, and good value for your hard earned dinero. I pride myself in supplying a relaxing and memorable holiday for guests that choose to e and stay with us! If you have been already, come back soon!
