Originally built in 1849, The Penthouse addition to this historic building offers a very modern touch. The property is located just around the corner from Frenchman St. and just 3 blocks from the French Quarter.
You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the kitchen, the comfy beds, very large wrap around gallery, and the light. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families.
Upstairs you'll find a well appointed kitchen, beautiful and bright living space and plenty of room for cooking, dining or lounging. Enjoy the quiet of the private parapet deck that wraps around the unit.
Sleeping: There are three bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom. Additionally there is one queen size air mattresses available for your use.
Sheets, blankets, hairdryer and hand soap included.
Eating: Full size kitchen, custom wood counter tops, and all new appliances (stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, etc.). All dinnerware, cooking dishes/utensils, and Kuerig coffee/teas selection are provided.
This unit is on the third floor of this building. There are two flights of stairs and we do not have an elevator.
Check in is 3PM - Under most circumstances the apartment may available sooner, however, this is on a trip by trip basis.
Lockbox and gate code will be provided upon reservation confirmation.
Interaction with guests
Upon arrival we can be there to greet you or you may explore on your very own.
There will be a guide book located on the coffee table upstairs with information on where to eat, drink and how to get around. As well as information for local activities and scooter/bike rentals.
And of course we will be available to answer any other questions you may have!

This is an amazing home in a residential neighborhood to be fully enjoyed but treated respectfully, as you would treat your own place - so please: No smoking in the house. You may use the gallery and provided ash tray for cigarette butt disposal. Please do not throw cigarette butts over the gallery onto the street! Upon entering the residence, please kindly remove your shoes. You are above two other residential units, please be mindful of the tenants below you!
Use provided coasters and placemats for your glasses, plates, etc. Keep music and noise at a reasonably low level between 11 pm and 9 am. Please keep the front door locked at all times.
Balconies and apartments are for the exclusive use of registered guests only. Guests should never hang off or lean over balconies. Dangerous or unsafe activities are not allowed on balconies. Guests should always use common sense and good judgment in their behavior.
Parties or gatherings of any type are not allowed in apartments, courtyard or on balconies. Please do not use the property as a gathering place for others not staying here. There are several bars very close by which can be used for this purpose. DO not share the security code with anyone not staying here; this includes friends, family, and delivery persons.
Loud, rude, obnoxious, disrespectful, or disorderly behavior is not allowed at any time. We will give one courtesy warning for any such behavior. If such behavior continues, you and your party can be evicted without refund. If necessary we will not hesitate to call NOPD for assistance.
CHECKING OUT: - Please wash towels and throw in the dryer before departure. Throw all trash and left over food in the trash cans located near the garage. Any used dishes/glasses please throw in the dishwasher. DO NOT put chef's knives, steak knives or pots and pans in the dishwasher.
From Feb 7 - 13, 2018 the minimum stay is 4 nights.
