The village is nestled between Famara, the world-famous surfing beach, and La Santa, the training ground for international athletes. Maybe we had great expectations about the house and that was the problem. The main house belongs to the owners who live there, so our house was behind the main house in the garage, with no views, in the listing there is no reference to that- The wifi is 30 euros (nowhere in the listing was described) and there was all lack of amenities. For 8 days there was just 1 roll of toilet paper, not even to soap to wash the dishes or any salt or spices or napkins. The bathroom need clearly maintenance and the main areas as well. Since I am also a host and I used to travel to Lanzarote, there were many other better alternatives around Famara.

Response from Peter:
The property is listed as an apartment. It is exactly that. It is in the grounds of my house. The Pool and garden facilities are exclusively for the guests. The views from the apartment are limited, but the views from the gardens are stunning. Yes the Wifi is 30 euros, if I have not made that clear enough on this site I apologise, I will investigate further. I do not supply loo rolls etc as I prefer to keep costs down, as the reviewer mentioned I always make sure there is some loo roll there for arrival. As for the comments about maintenance, I just see these as untrue and silly words from someone who is also a host and wants to rubbish the apartment I have been successfully letting for over a decade
