Recently updated! This cozy little house is just minutes from the Texas Theatre, Kessler Theater, and Bishop Arts District--where you'll find great restaurants, coffee shops, and local stores. I have boardgames and books you can use if you want to stay in as well! Easy access to the highways and multiple short routes to downtown. There is also a deck for hanging out in the back. I'm continually doing home improvement projects and will update as I go. (:
This is one of four rooms available in this house. This cozy little room is perfect for the solo traveler. It features a Twin XL bed and some space for your belongings. It also has a keyed lock for privacy.
You can access/use anything except the other bedrooms. Just be cool.
Interaction with guests
Krystal lives here, and I live nearby. We can provide local suggestions for delicious food and things to do/see if you need some ideas.
Other things to note
There will be other Airbnb guests (up to 6 total) staying in the other 3 rooms in this house. Get to know them and share some stories!
I bought the house as a fixer, so please be patient if some things are still a bit rough. (:
With the way the Airbnb rating system works for hosts, anything aside from 5 stars Overall ratings is a negative review. If you have any issues or concerns that come up, please make an effort to let me know and I will do my best to address it. Thanks in advance! :)

I'm a geek with a zest for adventure. I usually explore when I travel and have just a rough itinerary, packed with food stops. I enjoy meeting new people, whether it's on the road or at home in Dallas (where I've lived for 20+ yrs). Some things I do for fun: cooking, reading, tabletop games, woodworking and dancing Argentine tango. I've been lucky enough to travel to quite a few places around the world and enjoy sharing stories and misadventures with fellow travelers.
Life motto: "Be a better person today than you were yesterday."
I like to take photos when I travel, hike, and eat.
