In under 30 minutes, you can be sampling local artisan beer and wine made at one of six wineries and breweries including the Jacob Leinenkugel brewery in Chippewa Falls. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

Thanks for the stay at your country abode! It was a great stop for us on our way to pick up our kids at camp.

You will fall in love with the place! If you are looking for a place to get away for a few days, to relax, forget about your day to day, this is the place for you! Susan and Greg are very welcoming and willing to guide you to what ever you'd like! I can't wait to plan my next visit with them!

My fiance and I stayed with Sue and Greg with our one-year-old pup, Jacques, for a night as we were in the area to pick up a second Scottish Terrier to add to our clan. Prior to our arrival, Sue went above and beyond in the time she spent giving us recommendations for things to do in the area, including restaurants and wineries and breweries to visit... and she was spot on with every recommendation. Sue and Greg were so welcoming when we arrived to their house, which is even more beautiful than the pictures. Their 2 dogs, Tippy and Bella, were also friendly and were not territorial with our dog at all. Everyone got along splendidly, both human and canine alike! I can't thank Sue and Greg enough for such a wonderful stay and for helping us have such a great trip overall.

Very outgoing and knowledgeable about the area. Helped us find fun things to do. They graciously borrowed their bikes to us so we could explore the bike trails.

Greg & Sue were so welcoming, we felt perfectly at home on their beautiful property. The location was great for exploring Cornell, Chippewa Falls and Jim Falls. The fact that we could bring our dog Lucy was a perfect bonus to the trip! Their land and trails were perfect for walking. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to have a relaxing getaway or to get out an explore! We enjoyed grilling out, sitting by the campfire and exploring the towns nearby. Sue gave us a great list of recommendations for places to check out, one of which was Moon Ridge Brewery which we visited twice because we loved it so much! We would love to go back and explore some of the other awesome spots on the list.

I am a geologist and come from and have a big family. My husband and I are serial renovators, having restored or built 6 unique properties including waterfront, farmsteads, and historic mansions over the last 25 years. Locally, I am a guest chef. When I am not working you'll find me prospecting for books, bargains, fresh, locally-sourced food or planning the next outside adventure with family and friends.
