I was born and raised in N.Ireland and now work in the United States. I rent out my future retirement home in N.Ireland when not using it. I think Ballycastle is a jewel. My husband and I love to hike and cycle and there are fabulous coastal and inland routes from the house...always with a stop for tea and a fresh scone on the way. There is a local cycle club and separate ladies ride. I love that everything is walking distance in town and most if it steps from the house. Ballycastle is a friendly relaxing place with lots to offer, from the trails, coastal vistas, ferries to the great places to eat, drink, relax and enjoy life.
