In the heart of the Latin Quarter, I have the pleasure to welcom you in a new studio flat. Imagine : five minutes walk from Notre Dame, le Panthéon, la rue Mouffetard ... Come alone or with your partner to discover Paris and its most beautiful !

The space

Live in Paris one week, for visit and know the life of Parisian family.
We live in « Quartier Latin », between Notre Dame, Le Pantheon, and Le Jardin des Plantes (two minutes walk away) and we like it!
Also you can go to the Louvre, the Eiffel tower, the Louvre or the Cite des Sciences by metro (the metro station Jussieu is 3 minutes walk away down the street), bus, bicycles or boat very quickly.
Your apartment is just next our ‘s . It is sunny, calm with its independent entrance and located on the first floor (French, second in America) without lift. The studio was completely redone in November of 2010. It is 20sq meters (215 sq feet); there is a double size bed, a table with armchairs, a small kitchenette with sink and microwave. The bathroom is functional with shower, sink and lavatory.
Around your flat you can find little French bistro, cafés and very good restaurants. In the morning the openair market in the Mouffetard is calling you. We‘ll show you and we are sure you will like too!
And to see how French people live, every morning you will have French breakfast (croissant and baguette) and each Thursday we will offer you (if you want) a dinner with our family.
You are welcome!

Perfect small studio in a great area for a good price. It's not fancy, and the bathroom is very small (especially the shower), but it worked well for our needs for our 6 night stay. If you're just looking for a place to sleep and shower, it's a good option. The refrigerator was great to have and the daily deliveries of croissants and baguettes was greatly appreciated! Philippe was very responsive when needed.

Philippe and Isabelle are very hospitable and genuine hosts. The apartment is in a convenient location in Paris, & very close to the metro. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. Jardin des Plantes is a short walk from the apartment and it is a lovely morning stroll. The apartment is cozy & had everything I needed. They have a blow dryer in the bathroom, so save some space in your luggage and leave that at home ;) There is also a plug adapter in the apartment, which I thought is a nice touch! Philippe brought breakfast everyday. Really great baguettes and croissants he buys each day, along with his homemade jam! They invited me over for a lovely dinner with his family at their home and truly enjoyed their company. They had great recommendations of places for me to visit & eat in Paris. Philippe and Isabelle are so happy to help! Thank you!

We stayed in this apartment in one week and we can absolute recommend this place. It is very well located in the Latin Quarter with walking distance to many key attractions. The apartment is small but charming as like others central placed apartments in a city like Paris. It has what you need for a great holiday. Philippe is a fabulous host and we had felt us very welcome. We could not imagine us a better host than Philippe. Philippe bought us baguettes and croissants every morning expect Sunday - this was great. The communication before we arrive was great and Philippe answer our messages quickly. At the departure day we was allowed to leave the apartment at the afternoon because the apartment was not booked this day, it was very kindly when our flight depart late in the evening.

Great location. Close to metro, bikes, but also very walkable to many landmarks. Philippe was a great host, and welcomed us into his home, brought croissants in the morning and was a pleasure to interact with. Perfect for my first time in Paris.

I enjoyed the location of Philippe's place. The apartment itself was small, reasonably priced and well equipped with all that was necessary for a week-long stay in Paris. The bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of water, the refrigerator was a good size for my needs. The courtyard is lovely with a short walk up one flight of stairs. Philippe delivered croissants and baguette each morning...delightful! I recommend Philippe's apartment for those of you who want to stay in a friendly neighborhood within walking distance of the places of interest, but just enough out of the center to give a good feel of Parisian life. As a single person, I felt very safe and welcomed into the neighborhood by the owners of the cafe next door. Elizabeth

We had a fantastic time during our month-long stay in Paris. The room itself is small, but the real drawcards here are the amazing location, the good value, and the welcoming hosts! The location was AMAZING! Right nearby are the beautiful Jardin des Plants and Arenes de Lutece parks - they're different from one another and both enjoyable. It was a great novelty to run through the sprawling Jardin each day to the Seine and wave at some wallabies and the red panda in its zoo along the way. Of course there is a wonderful French bakery just nearby, and the Les Arenes restaurant just downstairs was a surprise dinner highlight - among many other nice places nearby. Many major attractions were in moderate walking distance (Notre Dame, the Seine, Jardin du Luxembourg, Pantheon, the Lourve... the list goes on), and the Jussieu metro stop accessed lines 7 and 10, taking you to much of the city very quickly. As others have mentioned, the place itself is pretty small, but we stayed there for a month and it was overall very workable. It's equipped with the basics: comfy double bed, kettle, toaster, fridge, portable single burner electric stove, hanging space, and some shelving. It's nice being on the first floor as it feels private without being a big hike up too many stairs, and throwing the shutters open every day to see a street full of typical Parisian places definitely never lost its charm! The main thing to note is that the shower is very tight, so it may not be the place for you if that could be an issue. The kitchen is inherently limited due to the space but we got creative with our meal prep and it didn't really bother us. Finally, our host Philippe was lovely and very accomodating. He answered our messages quickly, provided good checkin instruction, had some nice local area tips, and we spent an evening having a glass of wine and a great chat - he's a very good and genuine person. We truly did enjoy our time in Paris and felt sad to be going. Thanks again Philippe for having us! :)
