THE GREATEST STREET IN PARIS
So, you think you know Paris? There are hundred of memorable streets and boulevards in the City of Light. It is compact, only 3 blocks long, with a Metro stop on each end. In between you have dozens of the kinds of places that symbolize Parisian culture: cafes, high end restaurants, cheese shops, chocolate shops, wine stores, patisseries, a couple of neighborhood type groceries, all topped with classic Parisian apartment buildings. And, what makes it even more unique, it is a pedestrian-only street. In fact, this street is just off Les Halles, where the heartbeat of Paris was once found in the colorful and vibrant market district. The old Les Halles is now gone, moved to the suburbs. But, there are a few places where the old self-contained neighborhoods still exist, and Rue Montorgueil is the finest example. You won't see many tourists with cameras here. Most are a few blocks away at the Pompidou Center or a short metro ride away at the Louvre or Notre Dame. What you will find is Stohers, the oldest Patisserie in France, where baba au rhum was first made, and eclairs that are world famous. And, this is just one of many gourmet surprises. Just spent a week in the apartment on this street, and fell in love with Paris all over again.

ALL IS CLOSE FROM RUE MONTORGUEIL....
The Rue Montorgueil neighborhood is a small section of the Châtelet-Les Halles district, located at the city center. North of Rue Montorgueil is the area known as the Grands Boulevards; directly south is the Saint-Eustache Cathedral and Les Halles.

Best Airbnb that I stayed in! From the précise and complete instructions to all the amenities , this airbnb is simply sparkling clean, stylish and feel warm and welcoming each time you come back from a long day in Paris. The location is perfect, in a fun, busy street with lots of cafes (but we never heard any noises once in the apartment) and near most of the attractions. It is a 13 minutes walk to " le marais", a really quaint neighborhood with restaurants and small shops. The subway is 3 minutes away. Astrid is very attentive to every details and her response time on any questions is lightning fast! Very happy, we will be back.

Rarely does reality exceed your expectations but in this case it did. The neighborhood is real Paris with an abundance of local food vendors and cafes. The Metro is nearby but many of the important historical sites are easily walkable. Astrid’s apartment is lovely, very well equipped, quite and comfortable. She provides comprehensive instructions and information. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Astrid's place was beyond my expectations! Our best AirBNB experience EVER!! We would certainly be willing to arrange our next trip to Paris around the dates that Astrid's place is available!! The apartment was far more than a place to stay - it was an entertainment in itself! The area was super vibrant, yet the apartment was amazingly quiet. Tasteful decorations, colourful artwork, bright and airy rooms, everything completely functional, no issues whatsoever and simply a fun place to be!! Astrid's super-detailed manual was the GREATEST help in finding her place from the metro system, getting into the apartment and becoming accustomed to all the amenities inside. I would highly recommend Astrid's place to anyone!! Way to go, Girl!! :)

We loved everything about this apartment ! A very comfortable and quiet location with much to see. The markets and restaurants around there were so convenient. It was a lively area but you hear nothing inside. Very close to metro stops. I would recommend this to anyone! I can't wait to come back! The house manual was invaluable and so thorough to understand the appliances. Thanks, Astrid!

Astrid's place was amazing! The place is located in a wonderful neighborhood with easy access to the Louvre and other tourist attractions. The Louvre is so close, maybe 10 min walk. Aside from that, there is countless delicious authentic restaurants around the corner from the apartment and shops along the way as well. As for the flat itself, incredible! Spacious two bedrooms and large living and dining area. Kitchen fully stocked with bowls and cups and great coffee. The bathroom is AMAZING, shower is something worth staying for itself. All updated features throughout. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! 5-star experience all the way around!

This is a super super apartment !! The apartment is not very big, but it is arranged very comfortably so you don't feel it. One of the rooms doesn't have outside windows (only window to the living room), but it has a ceiling ventilator. The apartment is very decorated, and it is fully equipped, everything looks new and in high standards, it's clean, the self check in process is very comfortable. Conclusion: highly recommended!
