This is a completely charming historic little B &B and it is literally right next door to Hill Top Farm if you are visiting there. The host, Robert, is a very kind and helpful guy. My only caveat is to be careful if you are a solo traveler, as I was. I was assigned their "single" room which was so tiny that I couldn't walk around the bed without tripping over my suitcases. There is nowhere to sit down except on the twin bed. Also, the private bath is NOT ensuite which means that you have to make a trip down the hall for facilities. I didn't really see the other rooms or how big they were., so unable to comment on that Nice breakfast was served in the pleasant dining room. Just be sure to designate not the single room - unless you travel very light and don't mind going down the hall to use the toilet.

A lovely and welcoming guest house. A cosy get away and welcoming wood burner at the end of a long day. Definitely will be recommending to f&f.

Wonderful stay and I felt like it was a very authentic experience in the Near Sawrey village. Breakfast was spectacular! The hosts were wonderful and had great recommendations for where to walk to nearby. Listing online is very accurate!
