Spacious condo centrally located, litterally two blocs away from Old Quebec, but away from masses of tourists. Experience my beautiful city the most authentic way!

I work as a writer for a local art magazine. If you're into good music, plays, dance, expos and/or foodie treats, then we'll make a great match.

***IMPORTANT: I do not own or rent a parking lot, but Place d'Youville's paid parking (100 m from home) costs 18$/24h.***

The space

It's two-storey condo. I work a lot et sleep in the basement so you might not come across each other a lot during your stay. We share the kitchen and the bathroom on the first floor.

Also: you can take advantage of the backward garden.

My little house is located in the center of the city, a few steps from old Quebec and about 15 minutes from vibrant St-Roch by walk. You do not need a car.

Guest access

• Private room on ground floor
• Cozy living room (with cable, Netflix)
• Kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, counter)
• Bathroom (toilet, shower/bath)
• Patio (during summer)
• Wi-Fi
• Small coffee machine
• Tea kettle
• Shed (if you bring your bike)
• Hair dryer
• Washing machine
• Sheets and towels
• Scarves, gloves and tuques if you guys forgot yours (winter can be very cold in here)

Interaction with guests

As a journalist, my work consists of informing my readers what's up in Quebec City. So it will be super natural to me to share my favorite spots and great local events (concerts, exhibitions, shows) to attend to during your stay. I do the same for restaurants, bars, boutiques.

That being said, I can't tell you much about sports and outdoors. Those are not my cup of tea.

Other things to note

I have a cat.

Wi-Fi can get a little slow sometimes due to intereference I live just beside a TV/radio station and in a densely populated area.

Catherine's cozy place is central to everything. The Main Street is right in the next block (foods and cute shops) and the old Quebec part is like just in front of the apartment. Best location but much cheaper price compared with pricy hotels! Would definitely recommend Catherine's home and she has tons of secret menus and places to go! You cannot miss the chance to make friends with Catherine to discover the real Quebec life!!

Catherine was a great host! She was very responsive to all of my messages. The place is exactly as it is described and as seen in the pictures. Very clean and cute little place in the perfect location. Also, her cat is the sweetest cat I have ever met! Everything was great and I really enjoyed my stay at Catherine's place.

Catherine's home is perfect for a single or couple getaway to Quebec City. It is centrally located and within walking distance to every amenity and a perfect place to begin exploring the city from. We felt like we were at our own home for the week! Catherine is a lovely host; warm, welcoming and is very knowledgeable on where to go in the city. We enjoyed how she shared which places would give us the best local experience and value, and what to avoid. We loved spending time with her cat, Duchesse, as well! We will definitely visit Catherine again when we return for another getaway!

Catherine's place was wonderful (as was she and her adorable cat Duchesse). Located so conveniently within easy walking distance from either Old Quebec City and the Downtown area. Plus, just ask Catherine for suggestions for restaurants to visit- you won't go wrong (and I fully recommend Le Pied Bleu- unless you're a vegetarian!). It's only been a few days and I miss Quebec City already.

Catherine is very nice and so is her cute cat. Her house location is very convenient. It only takes 15–20 minutes walking to old town Quebec. There are different restaurants, grocery shops and bakery shops nearby her house. We had a good time.

Catherine's place is amazing! Is well decorated and cozy! The room is spacious and the bed is really comfy! It is very close to the hot spots of Quebec city. Her cat is so cute!! Catherine is the best host ever! I really enjoyed talking to her. She knows a lot about Quebec city (and also about others cities). I highly recommend this place! I would stay that again for sure! (Port) o apartamento da Carherine é maravilhoso! Super bem decorado e aconchegante. O quarto é bem espaçoso e a cama é super confortável. O apartamento é bem perto dos principais pontos turísticos. A gatinha dela é super fofa! A Catherine é a melhor anfitriã! Adorei conversar com ela e ela sabe muito sobre Quebec city e outras cidades! Super recomendo esse lugar! Ficaria de novo aqui com certeza!

Catherine's place was in an excellent location and close to everything. We didn't have to use any taxis while we visited as we could walk everywhere. Very cozy space and we enjoyed our stay! Would highly recommend.
