Cyndi is a great host and very accommodating. Her place is clean and very well laid out and was perfect for my family. Her barn and backyard are such a healing place.

Our five night stay was very relaxing as Cyndi and Sal made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the redwoods, oaks, flowers, birds, chickens and all the other animals. The fresh eggs and milk were an added delight. Even though there was a TV and DVDs, we listened to our own music and those of the breeze in trees and birds. During the hot spell, the bedroom fan worked well and the flow of air through the windows, in the shade of the great trees cooled us off. We sat out on the deck and had lunch and afternoon drinks. Thanks for a lovely getaway.

We had an excellent stay in Cyndi's cabin - the double bed was really comfortable, and everything was clean and ready for us. Cyndi was incredibly accommodating with our check in and gave us excellent directions to get there. Cyndi was a great source of knowledge about the area and we loved our quick swim in the creek, and spent a great day in Santa Cruz and Capitola. If only we had more time there were many other things we would have liked to do. The fresh eggs for breakfast were the icing on the cake! The cabin and garden are absolutely beautiful we will definitely be recommending it to friends.

WOW - the perfect get-away! Located on a one-lane, windy road in the hills, it is one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. The cabin is quaint, comfortable, and clean... with everything we needed. The huge private back yard was awesome! And having access to the horses, chickens, goats, dogs and cats was a joy. We even got pictures of the deer that kept coming in the yard to graze. So wonderful that we plan to move up to that area next year. The hosts were so kind, fun, accommodating, and patient. We locked ourselves out of the cabin one night, and Cyndi cheerfully let us back in... even though it was late. Simply love this place!

The perfect getaway during our getaway! We were looking for a quiet place to stay outside of Santa Cruz which was still a convenient drive into the city -- this was it! Farm animals, forest trees, and peace and quiet -- these were the major selling points when I booked the cabin. When we arrived, we were SO pleased to find the place impeccable, a fireplace, fresh eggs, milk, coffee, and oatmeal, AND the comfiest bed ever. We would highly recommend Cyndi & Sal's!

We really enjoyed staying here! The cabin was a quiet retreat with the ability to enjoy the outdoors and the animals that they have around as well as easy access to Capitola and Santa Cruz. There were also many family-friendly activities in the area including nice parks. We would definitely stay here again.

We love the outdoors, camping is high up on the list when we have the time. We also enjoy traveling to new places. So far all of our travel has been in the U.S., but we are hoping to someday make a trip to Italy. We're new to hosting and are looking forward to sharing our property and meeting new people.
