Highly recommed! This is a fantastic apartment in a superb location. The place is gorgeous with a very comfy bed. Although the apartment was a little hot with no AC, we loved it. And don't worry, she has a fan! The apartment is full of personality and charm and was very clean. The location is perfect, only a 5 minute walk to Termini (the main train and bus station) so just over half an hour total from Ciampino airport. Even though there are so many amazing restaurants on Via Urbana and Via dei Capocci, the place is very quiet and peaceful. There is also the best gelato place Rome directly opposite the apartment called Grezzo; check it out! Erica was fantastic. She is very cool, a lovely person and very easy to deal with. Check in and out were quick and easy with plenty on communication and advice in advance; and the bottle of wine she leaves you is very much appreciated on the first night there! We didn't use the bikes but they're top notch and would come in very handy if you choose to use them. Thank you Erica, I highly recommend this apartment!

~15 minute walk from Roma Termini on a lovely street with some nice restaurants. Closest sights were St. Peter in Chains and the Colosseum/Forum. Check in and out were very easy. The apartment is cozy, with a piano!!, and two floors. The stairs up to the bedroom might be a little difficult for someone over 6'4" or with knee problems, but it was fine for me.

Erica's place is a tasteful lodging in one of the best neighborhoods in Rome. We loved the fact that we needed no public transport - or taxi for what matters - to go anywhere in the center, yet the neighborhood was quiet and retained a "local" flare that many other central locations have long lost. Sam loved the piano but I could not do without the bike. As for the apartment itself, the bathroom in the mezzanine is a little jewel. Erika is welcoming and efficient, we cannot thank her enough for her patience with which she dealt with our difficulty to reach her place on time.

Ericas apartment is located really close to some key things like the colosseum and the metro, and the Monti area is great for food. I agree with previous reviews that said it's obvious that time and consideration was put into decorating the apartment, as it had pretty nice art. We had a few issues that we wanted to address in our review. First, the check in process was extremely rushed and it seemed like the host had somewhere else to be. We happened to just find a piece of paper on a table with the wifi information, and also found that the listing had said there was a TV and three beds, which there weren't. We also found that the downstairs shower didn't seem to function all that well, as the hot water knob just seemed to spin in place. We showered upstairs in the bathtub that had a handheld shower head. The only thing I would point out with that, is that it was kind of difficult to get in and out of that tub, and that there was some type of thing that looked like a garage door opener above the bathtub (I don't know what it was). Was it okay if it got wet? Who knows. Also, if you're (URL HIDDEN) careful! Lastly, the apartment doesn't have air conditioning. There was a fan provided, which helped, but with temperatures pushing 93F while we were in Rome..there were definitely some sleepless nights.

Erica greeted me on the street as some of these olf buildings are hard to distinguish between. The heritage style building is decorated in an old nostalic vibe with books, art and a grand piano! Upstairs does get a little stuffy but there is a fan. I would stay there again for sure. Thank you Erica

This place is so close to many sights to see in Rome yet it feels tucked away. We walked everywhere! Very close to train from the airport. Great neighborhood restaurants! With two sleeping areas and two bathrooms it was great for more than two people. A perfect host with an easy check-in and check-out process.
