Amazing space. Beautifully warm place in the centre of the city but has the quiet of the suburbs.
Comfortably sleeps two. A stones throw from all the action.
Lovely olive trees line the street as you approach the quiet and cozy villa.
The place holds the heat of the day and we are armed with a heat pump, heaters and hot water bottles for cooler conditions.
Open plan living, dining, kitchen with beautiful plaster roof details and decorative glass sliders doors. Brand new range hood above oven essential for cooking up a storm.
You will have your own key to come and go as you please. Completely make yourselves at home. Whether that means hitting town for a meal or cooking up a feast at home. Do your laundry and have a cuppa. We have WiFi fast fibre...woopwoop.
Relax you're on holiday time!
Interaction with guests
I live at the residence but am pretty on-the-go so depending on the length of your stay you may not see me all that much. I will leave you to your own devices but be available for any questions and am happy to share a wine and recommend things to see and do :-)
Other things to note
You'll love your stay...Welly has so much to offer!
Be respectful of the place and clean after yourself. Just general good human being behaviour :-)
I am a kiwi born and raised in the South Island and have called Wellington home for the last 10+years.
Love roasts and red wine in winter, wakeboarding, surfing and general outdoor shenanigans in summer.
I'm enjoying vinyl atm, have been exploring sounds from Beatles to Tracy Chapman to Black Sabbath.
My home space also houses a small textile design area where you will find me dreaming up new surface prints or sewing leggings and scarves etc...
You can check out the Etsy website, search helloinka, for some examples.
A great way to remember your time in Welly ;-)
As a guest/host I'm pretty on-the-go. Generally I'm running out the door to meet someone, do something or explore somewhere!! I will make sure you have everything you need; we will have a few convos and hopefully exchange some great local tips of things to see and do. Maybe even swap some food inspiration at dinner time.
Meeting new people is awesome!
Looking forward to talking with you soon :-)
