The house stands in the middle of 6 ha of private forest that offer complete privacy. In front of the house and facing the sea, a terrace invites you to have breakfast. You can enjoy yourself in this area without even having the idea to get out of it. But in case of movement, the activities in the region are numerous: from Breton heritage to long beaches - enough to please everyone. We will be delighted to reveal our favorite places or our beloved pancake shop when you arrive.

The space
The house is large and ideal for meeting several families. It is completely adapted to the presence of children: very few fragile things, and many board games/puzzles available. The garden/forest are endless places of exploration for young and old alike.

Where you’ll be

Plomodiern, Bretagne, France

The estate is located not far from the village of Plomodiern with its typical Breton village, its old stone church, shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants (including the two-star restaurant l 'Auberge des Glazicks!). There is also the Post Office, bank, doctors and pharmacy.

Plomodiern is only 3 km from one of the largest natural beaches in Finistère, Pentrez-Lestrevet, set in the setting of beautiful granite cliffs and stretching almost 4 km. A beach appreciated both for its supervised swimming area of Pentrez, ideal for families and sheltered from the wind, and for its wilder side of Lestrevet, where almost all water sports (boarding, surfing, windsurfing, sport fishing etc.) are at the rendezvous. This diversity is confirmed on the 5 other beaches nearby (Saint Anne La Palud, Kervel, Kervigen, Porz ar Vag, Caméros): the choice goes from the large beach with its sandy dunes to the small discreet and romantic beaches, where children go in search of shells and crabs.

The estate is also a good starting point for exploring the region, whether by hiking or cycling on the many quiet trails and communal routes: inland the Menez-Hom Natural Park, with its legendary hills that sometimes resemble those of Scotland, with its picturesque valleys and rivers that invite fishing. To the north, the Crozon Peninsula with its impressive cliffs and countless small coves. To the south, especially the medieval village of Locronan.

Those looking for traditional restaurants and crêperies, where you can eat simple and well, or who prefer gourmet tables will find both nearby, either in Plomodiern (2 Michelin stars) or on the beach of Pentrez-Lestrevet and Pors ar Vag.

It is impossible to make a complete summary of the attractions of the region, so here is a small selection: the worldly baths of the 1920s with their marina (Tréboul, Morgat, Benodet), the bays of Douarnenez and Audierne with their many beaches (large, small, wild or guarded), their breathtaking cliffs (Pointe du Raz, Cap de la Chèvre), their fishing ports (Douarnenez, Audierne, Guilvinec), the historic cities of Quimper, Concarneau and Locronan with their narrow alleys, their half-timbers, their shops, the great port of Brest with its museums of national importance, its botanical park (very impressive bamboo forest) and its Oceanopolis park dedicated to marine flora and fauna, the village of artists Pont-Aven (Impressionists), the colorful markets open every day somewhere else, the churches and cathedrals of particular style (Pleyben, Quimper), the castles (weird: Trevarez) and fortifications of all ages. All this forms with deep forests and numerous megalithic sites a landscape of legends and traditions unique.
