Overall it's a fine place to stay: it is clean, has decent furniture, comfortable beds and is generally quiet despite being in a busy area. As well, Jorge was very accommodating, allowing us to check out late.
I am a fan of full disclosure, however, and this is what I would have liked to have known prior to booking: the apartment is in the back of the building. The ONLY window is in the living room and looks onto an airshaft. This means that there is very little light in the apartment and no air circulation or natural light in the bedrooms at all (OK, one bedroom has a window into the living room so you can get a little light through that if you open the blinds, but not much.)
You enter the apartment through one of the bedrooms. Not a big deal, but a bit odd. Also, this bedroom does not have a door between it and the living room. It was fine for our family (kids) but might be an issue if you want privacy.
Finally, the wifi was terrible. It is coming from another apartment, I think, so you could only get it in the entry/bedroom, no where else in the apartment at all. Even there it was weak, intermittent and generally hard to use--all four of us would crowd into the corner closest to the door trying to get a signal.
Also, FYI, it's a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures, but you should expect that.
That being said, it is quite convenient--just off Carrera 70, a really busy street in Laureles--and if all you need is a place to rest your head, it would be fine.
