About this listing

Studio space has private entrance but we share the bathroom. No kitchen sink. Ethernet but limited wifi.
You need to bring food from town since there are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby. No Public transportation-possibly no Uber.
During snow, 4 wd, chains or good snow tires may become necessary.

The space

The studio is private & a separate wing from my apartment but we share the bathroom. You'll need to be comfortable climbing the ladder to the loft bed for now!

Guest access

My apartment on the other side of the bathroom door is not accessible.
The garage is not accessible.

Interaction with guests

Please let me know if you need anything-
If I'm home come around the outside of the building, inside the gate, my door is just around the corner. Text or call me at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).

Other things to note

There are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby so you need to bring your food up- I have a 3.5 cu ft mini-fridge with small freezer. There are minimal cooking supplies.
Most cell phones do not work here. We are transitioning to ethernet instead of wifi so adaptors are in place to use internet tv, a laptop or pad but we are trying to resolve ethernet use for cell phones....

If you are looking to soak in some of Boulder's beautiful views, try different hiking trails, or just trying to reconnect with nature in a serene location, then Kathy's mountain side abode is a choice location. She was a wonderful host and we felt right at home, it was difficult saying bye to Boulder and the top of the mountain! Thank you Kathy!

Kathy is always so welcoming and accommodating. It is a true pleasure to stay here in the mountains and enjoy the peace and tranquility that the space has to offer. My go to when I need a place near Boulder.

Kathy provides a very nice and cosy apartment some 20 minutes uphill of Boulder. You'll have to climb a latter to get to your bed, which I found very cool. Kathy is very hospitable and will do everything to make your stay perfect. Would totally stay with her again!

Kathy's hospitality was wonderful and very welcoming. I appreciated her thorough communication both before and during the trip! The loft was well-furnished and homey. She is moving towards using ethernet rather than wifi so be aware that you may be without signal or internet while at the loft. The location near Boulder was great! But just be mindful that it takes about 30 minutes to get from Boulder up to the loft. Overall, a great stay and lovely mountain getaway with gorgeous scenery!

I stayed at Kathy's place for two nights. It's upon a mountain, close to one of the reservoirs and the drive up from Boulder is very scenic. There are multiple trails on the way up. Kathy was a wonderful host. She provided me with dinner the day I arrived since I hadn't made any arrangements for it before-hand. Though it doesn't come with a full kitchen, it has enough pots and pans to cook breakfast and other light meals as needed. There is also coffee and hot water for tea. After a week of travelling I was looking for a place to unwind. Kathy's place was perfect. I hope to stay here the next time I am in Boulder.

Kathy was a lovely host and her place was just beautiful. It was amazing seeing so much wildlife and nature just driving up to her place. She provided so much for us like blankets, bathroom amenities, cooking utensils, and even food.

Kathy User ProfileKathy is a superhost.

I love to read and watch movies, go mushroom hunting, making big dinners with my family, walking in beauty, birdwatching, meditation practice and traveling. I love Mexico, have been to Japan, Borneo, India, Nepal, Kenya, UK, France, Italy Tibet/China & much of the US - I appreciate our connections so much. I value an organic, sustainable lifestyle appreciating an abundant earth, living without causing harm to others as best I can. As your host I will give you plenty of space but if you need help just ask!
