Simon has an amazing place in Jambiani (I was 6 weeks at Zanzibar - Nungwi, Stone Town, Jambiani - at that was the best place!) - room was really very clean, bright and big!!!! (its not typical for Zanzibar) - breakfast was very good as well (pancakes, tea and juice) - bike was really nice to have (I used it every day) - bed was big and comfortable (its also not typical for Zanzibar) - and omg the wifi!!!! Ive never had such a good signal during my stay here (except in Stone Town of course)!! - this place is to 100% recommendable :D asante sana for everything!

Marguerite who was taking care of the hosts welcomed us with a delicious mango juice when we arrived. You'll also enjoin pancakes for breakfast. The room was wide with its private bathroom. It's a great place to stay in Jambiani's village, 3 minutes from the beach.

Simon's place is wonderful!!! The home cooked meals were delicious, the house is so close to thre beach, but you get the more authentic experience of staying in the village. The rooms are also very well sealed (doors and mesh on windows) so I never even saw one mosquito inside. The garden is very beautiful and serene, and the wifi is very fast for Tanzania. So overall my husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Simon is also very helpful and helped us to arrange car transfers, and always responded quickly when we had a question. If you want a local experience, this is a fantastic option for you.

The room was nice and cool in July, big, bathroom ok. Nice to have breakfast on the veranda outside! 5 min to the beach walking through original, local village. Take also a bike ride to other parts of Jambiani or Paje! Take a torch, if you want to walk at night. Enjoy relaxed, polite atmosphere of village people!

Simon is a great host! He went to take us directly at the daladala stop and he shared meals with us, the breakfast included was good and we could talk about many interesting things about the area. He even took us to swim with dolphins! Highly recommended.
