I was ready to crash out when I finally arrived to Gwens about dusk. She was there and warmly greeted me into her very unique home and showed me around it. She introduced me to her German Shepard's Charlie and Buddha who behaved just as she instructed them to. I was really tired so just chilled in my cozy room. Next morning we visited more and I even had time to stop by Gwens gallery of glass art... very lovely pieces. Magdelena looks like there's a lot going on behind the scenes. After a brief visit at the vintage (?) mall, really only one sprawling store with a huge variety of very nicely displayed and well preserved things and much Navajo Indian arts and crafts, I had to get on the road. If you are going that way, or just want an off the beaten path getaway I highly recommend Gwens place!

Gwen's place was awesome. She provided detailed directions and her communication was very prompt. Bed was comfy and the room was nice. I didn't get to spend too much time with Gwen as I was in kinda late and left early, but the time I spent with her you could tell she was super friendly. The dogs were super nice, but still going through the puppy stage, it was expected based on the description.

I had a wonderful few days staying with Gwen. Her house is beautiful, peaceful, clean, and comfortable for working or relaxing. Gwen is very helpful and flexible and of course her dogs were great. I would love to stay here again if I am ever back in beautiful Magdalena.

Gwen was an amazing host and went above and beyond to make my stay spectacular. Her place was lovely with beautiful views of the mountains. The house was cozy and comfortable. She has put a lot of love and artistic energy into her home and gardens! The dogs were an extra added bonus. We had a lot in common regarding a love of nature, exploration and art! Wish i had had more time and will be back for sure!

Gwen's home is a warm, relaxing retreat. There is a beautiful garden area in back with metal art from one of the artists in town. The scenery is amazing, with views of ranches and the Magdalena Mountains. Gwen makes you feel at home in this gem of a place. Her dog Charlee and the puppies are great! I stayed here for 6 nights, using Mag as "home base" to check out various things in the area. The next time I'm in Magdalena, I will definitely stay here.
