This house was just right for us. Comfy and spacious, with lovely views from 2 of the bedrooms. Fantastic private outdoor space, as well as a lovely shared pool right in front of the house. Several places to eat outside, big fridge, and lots of sunlight in the main bedroom (with the windows open you can sunbathe in bed! THe cooker is terrible, so we recommend making salads and things you can microwave, but then who wants to make a roast dinner on holiday! The neighbors are friendly and welcoming. It really felt like living in a SPanish community. It will pay to be able to speak a little SPanish as La Cala is not really a tourist town and lots of people spoke no English. I enjoyed trying my best! Not recommended for the unfit as the house is up a long hill, we actually enjoyed this as the views are amazing. Easy parking for a hire car. Basically it's brilliant. A place you can stay and feel at home in Spain. Thanks you Andreas, we LOVED it :)

Our family of 6, including an 87-year old great-grandmother and a 2-year old, felt very comfortable here. 4 separate bedrooms (two double beds, two rooms with single beds, + an available crib) meant everyone had their space. 3 rooms upstairs (where the shower is), and one double room downstairs off the kitchen. The space was designed so that we could watch tv in the living room in the evenings without really bothering anyone in any of the rooms. The only time we felt limited was watching tv, since there is only the one couch, but we just brought over a chair from the dinner table. We stayed for 2.5 weeks in February, so we did not use the pool, though it was clearly being maintained and looked very clean. We were happy to have the small garden and terrace for our little one to run around in. There was even a rocking horse outside and other toys inside for him to discover. The neighborhood is residential, with a few barking dogs, but that's normal in Spain. Parking was never a problem, just on the street. The house is on more of a hill than we expected, so it was too difficult for our great-grandmother to walk back to from town (there was a small supermarket and a quiet square with a couple restaurants within easy walking distance). We also visited the nearby shopping center and the Carrefour for bigger shopping needs, though walking there would be a bit of a hassle with the loooong stairs in between. Luckily we had a car. We were also happy to have a nice park with a playground within a very short walking distance. We stayed in this town for the location, and we were happy with that decision. Not a hectic city, but all the services one could want. A cute beach promenade where we would jog, use the multiple playgrounds, or enjoy an evening meal. Access to the highway was just a 2 minute drive from the house (but no worries, you do not hear the highway at all), so we could easily visit other locations like Malaga and Granada very easily. There were a couple issues which I think are worth mentioning. The shower was not fantastic, mostly a pressure problem, and I think a new shower head would easily fix that. The television has a satellite dish, so we could watch German television, but any strong wind would cause bad reception, and since it is on the coast, there was often wind in the evenings. Perhaps the satellite dish can be more securely fixed? Lastly, the electricity of the whole house would turn off and we would have to flip the circuit breakers multiple times a day. Since it was February, we often had the heat on, or when we would cook in the evening, or boil water... this seemed unusual to us, so I hope that can be fixed somehow. A great value for our family in a location...

Andreas was very nice since the beginning. Gave all necessary information about the house, arrival etc.. The place is just as described and the swimming pool is awesome :) The house has everything you need to make your stay comfortable (BBQ, sunbeds, TV, internet and more). The neighbors are very nice and helpful even though they didn't speak English ;) Its good to rent a car for the stay, even just for the reason of getting up the hill where the house is located. But also if you want to see other cities as there is not much happening in the place itself. In those high temperatures its quite challenging ;) I definitely recommend the place to anyone that wants a relaxing stay in Rincon de la Victoria ;)

Hi, the house was exactly liked the pictures. It is very spacious and well equipped. There is lots of kitchen utensils and crockery etc. The house is part of an urbanisation of 7 and everyone is very friendly, in particular the gentleman who lives at number 3. We spoke no Spanish and he spoke little English, but made a huge effort to communicate with us, using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) translator! The area is very Spanish and authentic, not a 'Brits abroad' place. The only negative the house is situated up a steep hill, which was fine for us, but could be a struggle for some. The swimming pool was great. Getting around was easy the bus stop is at the bottom of the hill and there are regular buses into Malaga City, I downloaded the app which made it really easy. We would definitely go back and stay in this house and recommend it to families.
