We live in a lovely village, with farmland all around, and views to the Pentland and Moorfoot Hills in the distance. The Scottish landscape painter, Sir William Gillies lived here. There is a ruined church to visit, and just a mile away is Arniston House. We are ideally located, close to Edinburgh, and The Borders. Our home is on a recognised cycling route, and there are a number of walks, straight form the door, including a circular Village walk of approximately one and a half miles.

On the edge of a quiet village, with lovely views, Jane's home is filled with bright artwork and colourful touches. Comfortable beds, lovely bathroom, great breakfast, but best of all Jane's warm personality makes you so welcome. A home from home.

A beautiful spot and a wonderfully airbnb experience. Jane was a graceful host, and an inspiration for creativity. It was also my best night sleep on my trip, for which I am pretty grateful!

Response from Jane:
Very happy that you slept so well, and enjoyed the Airbnb AND the Tapestry Workshop. I'm also glad you took the time to go out for a walk, and explore the village. We might not have the excitement of Edinburgh, or the majesty of the Highlands, but the Lothians and Borders have some lovely countryside.
