A trendy inner city suburb with heaps of cafes and restaurants
Couldn't be better for public transport, trams, trains & bus
Everything you need near by - food, shopping, access to city, sporting events. Terrific location.
Close to everything Melbourne has to offer, easy access to major sporting and entertainment venues such as the Melbourne Cricket Ground (cricket, Australian Rules football, sports museum), AAMI Stadium (home to three football codes), Rod Laver Arena (tennis)
The neighbourhood is very well supported by public transport. You can comfortably get about without a car. On Bridge Rd, trams 48 and 75 take you into the city in 15 minutes via the MCG, or out eastern suburbs, Kew, Camberwell, and Hawthorn. On Swan St, the No. 70 tram to the city, via Rod Laver Arena (home to the Australian Open every January). The 78 tram (on Church St) goes north to Victoria Street, and south to South Yarra and St Kilda. Richmond and East Richmond stations are only a 10 minute-walk away.
Surrounded by cafès, galleries and restaurants. (Bridge Road, Swan Street, Victoria Street-best Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine ), shops, boutiques, bars and pubs.
5 minute walk to Epworth Hospital
