Here at Croftness Bothy you can lap up the beautiful surroundings while still being able to walk into town for a meal, drink or a trip to the cinema.
We are surrounded by stunning giant trees and open hill as well as a view down to the glen that's home to the river Tay. All of this you can enjoy from the private hot tub on the back patio.

The space
Croftness Bothy is part of the old farm dating back to the 1860s and has been upgraded in early 2017. It has a generous ground floor, great kitchen, ground floor WC and a cosy living area with open fire.
Upstairs the bedroom consists of king size bed and an ensuite bathroom. The bedroom can be changed to a twin upon request.
To the rear you have a private raised patio with stunning views over the giant trees by the 'Birks o Aberfeldy' and the Tay Valley. You can sit and enjoy the peaceful scenery from the garden furniture or from our newly installed 2 person hot tub.

Guest access
While staying at the Bothy you will have your own private patio looking onto the giant trees of the Birks and down the Tay Valley. As well as this there is parking to the front of the building.
We kindly ask that guests respect the privacy of our neighbours.

Other things to note
DOG FRIENDLY:
We do welcome 1 dog to the Bothy (for an additional £20 charge). Please do note our doggy 'rules':
- please keep dogs out of bedrooms
- we have free range hens, horses and sheep with lambs at Croftness so dogs must be kept on a lead when out and about
- we cannot guarantee the patio is secure so please keep a close eye on your dog or keep them on a lead when using this space
- dogs must not be left alone in the Bothy
- we provide dog water and food bowls, dog towel and poo bags
There are lots of dog friendly cafes and pubs in Aberfeldy and plenty of stunning walks from the Bothy to enjoy with your dog so it is an ideal getaway for you and your pup.
HOT TUB:
Please note that the hygiene and cleanliness of our hot tub is our priority therefore we change the water for every new guest. In some instances, the water may not be up to temperature for your arrival.
TOILETRIES:
Please note that we have now switched to refillable toiletries in order to be more environmentally friendly so we kindly ask guests not to remove these bottles to take home.
