Cafés at the corner of the street, on a charming small square also offer you their improvised concerts.
The shops nearby, Place Maubert going down the Montagne Sainte Geneviève, and its small market are at your disposal to buy a wide choice of cheeses, refined by an elected cheese maker " better worker of France " quite as the bakery and its traditional baguette. Of course there are also, just next door, the wine cellars offering the best vineyards of French wines ;

Connected with Roissy airport by the RER(REGIONAL EXPRESS NETWORK) B in the station of Luxembourg. Close-by subway stations are Maubert-Mutualité and Cardinal Lemoine and buses.

Then just imagine you on the long balcony, in front of the Pantheon, in front of a big bowl of coffee,some good crunchy bread and warm croissants and a few hours later, in the cool of the evening, with a glass filled with a classy Bourgogne or with a strong Bordeaux,

Genuine Parisian feelings.

Myriam's apartment was absolutely spectacular. While the place is a little small (but everything in Paris is), it was surprisingly well-appointed, and had a long list of great amenities. For the price, it's very unlikely you'd find another apartment in the city in such a great area, with a view like this, as many amenities, and with such charm. I'd highly recommend choosing Myriam's apartment for your stay!

This location was fabulously located near almost everything one wants to experience when in Paris. We had all that we needed in the apartment amenities, kitchen, bathroom, laundry and nice balcony overlooking the street. Everything was perfect.

We love this Parisian flat in the 5th arrondissement . This is our second stay this year. It’s situated on 5th floor with a Parisian-style lift. The windows of all rooms open onto the narrow balcony with a table and 2 chairs, and an amazing view of the Pantheon dome. The kitchen is well organized and efficient, including a clothes washer/dryer. Whole flat is attractively decorated and furnished with Villeroy and Boch dishes and lovely glassware, current books on art and Paris. It’s very light, comfortable, and a secure flat - perfect for 2, and very good value. The immediate neighborhood is lively and full of good!! restaurants, cafes, and all kinds of shops. An excellent local outdoor market is close by a couple of days each week with incredible quality and selection. It’s perfect for walking and public transport, also well lit at night. A short walk will get you to the Luxembourg Gardens, which can be addictive. Our delightful and helpful host, Myriam, provided extremely responsive communication and connection for our planning and entire visit. Lucky you if you get to stay here!

Lucky find for a flat in Paris! Older building very well maintained, with new and efficient appliances and furnishings, yet a French flair with armoires and decorations. Double paned windows open in all rooms to allow great view of the pantheon's dome and flower boxes along the narrow, but useable, balcony. Fifth floor is a fun above-the-street view, with elevator. Very secure. The neighborhood is lively with tons of good cafes, restaurants, specialty shops, close to Luxembourg Gardens and historic sites. Several metro stops are close and 5th arrondisment is very walkable. Beautiful dishes and glasses, plus other comforts made this a comfortable and light-filled flat for our 9 day stay. Myriam communicated with us before and during our stay, transfer of keys was easy, and our visit with Myriam on the last day was a delightful finish to our "French way of life in Paris".

The location is super, you just cant beat it. The flat itself is modernized, well designed and the balcony is a big plus. Having said that, i felt that it a bit small for two people. Myriam is lovely: was very friendly to us, very nice, and trying to help whenever we needed help. I would take it for next time im in paris!

Response from Myriam:
There is only one bedroom and when not a couple the second person has to sleep in the drawing room, which can make things more difficult if their way of life is different.

I'm a librarian in a school. I'm very fond of culture and literature : exhibitions, theater, and music. I like to stroll in Paris and meet foreigners. There are lots of old cinemas in my district and I specially like the cultural atmosphere of the Quartier Latin, with the Sorbonne, the College de France, the various libraries, the bouquinists along the Seine. I also like all the different restaurants all around my place, the old typical cafés of Paris, like the one in Amelie Poulain, or those of the rue de Oberkampf.
