We really enjoyed our time in Antalya and Andrey's apartment was an excellent place to stay and we would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Antalya.
# Excellent quiet working air conditioning in both bedrooms; this is a must when staying in Antalya in the summer as (surprisingly some apartments don't have it) temperatures are often 35c in the day and 25c at night.
# The apartment is located just 20 minutes flat walk from Kaleici but is much cheaper than staying in Kaleici.
# All the appliances in the apartment work well: good shower, washing machine, good fridge and freezer and a TV with Turkish and Russian channels but also Al Jazeera news in English (and a dishwasher, which we didn’t use). The photos are an accurate representation of the apartment.
# The apartment is fairly new and is tastefully decorated, with sleeping areas comprising of one double bedroom and a comfortable double sofa bed in the living room, a hallway with a bathroom off it and a nice patio area to sit outside and eat.
# Andrey is very friendly and helpful. Although his English language is very limited he does his best to communicate and to deal with any issues promptly. He went to the shop to fetch us bottled drinking water when we arrived.
# Andrey may offer to collect you from the airport. We accepted this offer after negotiating the price and were glad we did as we realised at a late stage that we had only been given the name of the street, not the block or apartment number, so no taxi would have been able to find the apartment anyway.
# The apartment does not have wifi internet. We booked on the basis that wifi internet was available but this is actually a 3G dongle for laptops only (does not work with smart phones or tablets).
# There isn't really any hanging space for clothes (there is one small coat stand).
