Our cosy little house is in a quiet corner of Susak's picturesque upper village. Fully equipped; linens, towels & WiFi included :) Susak is untouched by mass tourism. Its sandy paths wind their way to exotic, secluded beaches. Children love it too :)

The space

€70/day in July and August
€60-€40/day in May, June and September

Our cosy little house is in a quiet corner of Susak's picturesque upper village. It consists of the ground floor and the first floor, each 25m2. The entire upstairs is the bedroom, with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. The kitchen/dining area and a small bathroom are downstairs. The entire house has recently been refurbished. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bed linens and towels are included. WiFi too :)

Susak is a truly unique island in the northern Adriatic. It has a reputation for being unconventional both in terms of geography (as Croatia’s only island made almost entirely of sand) and in terms of experience – it hasn’t yet been fully touched by civilization and mass tourism. It's a haven for those looking to get away from busy urban life and well-trodden tourist paths :)

In addition to two big sandy beaches popular with children, you are almost guaranteed to find a quiet beach all to yourself. The pathways of yellow sand leading to the beaches on the more quiet side of the island wind their way through romantic vineyards. They are also a wonderful setting for a walk to the lighthouse on one end of the island, or the small chapel on the other.

There are two ways to reach Susak - via Rijeka and via Mali Losinj. The boat from Rijeka is more convenient if arriving from abroad, but keep in mind that it doesn't sail on Tuesdays! :)

It was a lovely stay and we appreciated every piece of it. Despite not meeting her in person, Rujana was a great host who did her best to give us as many useful info as possible. The place itself is very neat, clean and well equiped and also perfectly located within Susak's upper village. We definitely recommend Rujana's place!

Rujana is a perfect host. She supported us a lot. She supplied us with detailed travel information and also information about the island before our travel and during our stay. That was very helpful. The house is exactly the way that it is being described, we felt very comfortable!

Though we didn't have a chance to meet in person, we had excellent communication with our host. If you're not familiar withSusak be free to ask your hosts for tips and recommendations. The Cosy House on Susak was in perfect condition and exceeded our expectations. Location couldn't have been better, being in a hideaway from the main streets of the Susak Upper Village. Definitely recommended for a couple or a family for the best value for their money.

We were coming to Susak for the Susak art expo in May. Communication from the start with Rujana was easy. She provided in depth detail about the island and the apartment and was clear about what to expect as it was a time we were arriving out of season. Getting to Susak wasn't easy for us. Weather conditions were quite bad, so the ferry crossing was a bit unsettling if you are not used to sea travel. The apartment was clean and everything was provided that we required. It is located in beautiful surroundings, next to the church and short walk down to the beach and bakery. The expo provides art that is situated around the island for exploring and discovering. Wonderful food, wine, music, conversation was had around peoples houses and the local restaurant was fantastic. All the locals are very friendly and accommodating. Falling asleep to the sounds of nightingales was magical. Thank you for the stay, would love to return. Sandra
