My urban oasis is close to Jamaica Pond, Longwood Medical area, Fenway Park, Franklin Park Zoo. The large, sunny and clean 3rd floor master suite has a queen bed, private bath with walk-in shower, and plenty of dresser and closet space, a desk and a mini-fridge. A continental breakfast is included.
Close to public transportation: Green Line, Orange line and bus are close by. 1 off-street parking space is available.
I have 3 cats, so the house is not amenable to those with cat allergies.
A special home in a perfect neighborhood! And I am sure you will love it. Although located in the city of Boston (Jamaica Plain), the house is private and feels as though you are in the suburbs. A large private side garden is the perfect place for breakfast or a glass of wine. The house is off of the Jamaicaway, so there is some noise from traffic, and there are also regular ambulances taking patients to the nearby Longwood Medical Area hospitals. I've added a "white noise" machine in the bedroom. The rooms are well proportioned, nicely decorated, clean and inviting. A working fireplace in the living room is enjoyed by all, especially my 3 cats, on cold winter days. It is a short 7 minute walk to the Jamaica Pond. If you are a walker, you will love it here. It is a 25 minute walk to the Longwood Medical Area, 35 minutes to Fenway Park, and 40 minutes to the Museum of Fine Arts.
Since the Master Suite is on the 3rd floor, a mini-fridge has been provided and stocked with water and beverages (so that you don't have to make the trek to the kitchen for a glass of water!)
In addition to your Master Suite, you are invited to use the TV room on the second floor, which has cable TV, an Elliptical trainer, dumb-bells, and a yoga mat.
You are welcome to share the kitchen and dining room with me. And of course you will want to sit and enjoy the beautiful garden.
A parking space is available off-street.
An additional bedroom with a full bed, and a private bath across the hall, is also available if you are travelling with a child or companion.
Interaction with guests
I love meeting new people and will greet you if possible when you arrive and be available to answer questions and assist as needed.
I will provide a continental breakfast each morning, although I will probably have left for work by the time you wake and are ready to eat.
I really look forward to hosting you in the beautiful city of Boston.

I am so looking forward to hosting you in my home! I love being home, but also travel frequently for both business and pleasure. As a seasoned traveler, I know what I need and love in a lodging. I will do my best to bring that experience to you. Adventure travel is my favorite, and I have been to many incredible destinations -- Antarctica, Galapagos Islands, Safaris in Zambia, Botswana and Namibia -- are highlights. I've worked and lived for 1 year in Lusaka, Zambia. I also love travelling to US cities to visit family - Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Omaha - all great to visit because of the friends and family that live there. But there is no place like home, and I love coming home every time!
