If you're adventurous and you like the nature, you'll love it there. Making a nice fire, cooking your own food, enjoying the garden. We very much enjoyed the stay however 2 days might have been short. The description is accurate. We would stay there again.

Wow, what a wonderful week in the Cairngorms. The weather was so good we got sunburnt and swam in the lochs! Kirsteen's place was a good base for exploring the stunning surroundings.

In the middle of our 9 day stay in Scotland, we had a great stay in the cottage. By using the postal code, we found it without any problem. It was near a good shop, great walks and everything we wanted to see was in a distance of 30-40 minutes. It took us some time to understand the central heating (it works when you use the fireplace and make a nice fire), we liked it to use it and sit by the fire. The cottage is well equiped, and the beds are good. The fact that there's no WiFi made our boys choose one of the many games (non virtual, like rummicub and monopoly, London version. The communication with Kirsteen and her husband was very good. We can recommend this place!

Off the beaten track , lots of outdoor fun . The close-by Ben Newe is well worth the hike for the panoramic views of the Highlands . A mild challenge but all relative to what you're accustomed to .
