This cabin is set in a glorious setting, tucked under pine trees and grassy central space. Joan's hospitality is so thoughtful -- fresh flowers, snacks, coffee. She brought us a hiking book that was immensely helpful. We saw a herd of elk one night as we drove in. I always am so appreciative of tips about good food and places to go and we were not disappointed. I can't wait to return.

Second time staying here and it was fabulous as before. Came to see the fall colors and we were not disappointed. Love staying at Joan's with the porch to relax on, the tea stock and the pine views. Great time!

Joan's place was warm and welcoming despite the dropping temperatures at night. Her and her husband have built and designed everything on the property and they certainly have a love for sharing their beautiful home. This is the perfect get away for a weekend of relaxation!

Had the most amazing stay. The guest house is very comfortable and cozy with a full kitchen. Joan is very thoughtful and went over and about to provide us with everything we might need during our stay. The property is beautiful. Very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the pond, boating, outdoor kitchen, campfire, garden etc etc. It's like being in the woods with no one around yet so close to the city... I couldn't have imagined a more relaxing vacation!

Loved staying at the cabin! It is the perfect size for 2 people. I loved sitting out on the porch in the mornings drinking coffee and watching the birds and bunnies in the land surrounding the cabin. The pond was super cute too, though we didn't take advantage of using it while we were there. The cabin is in a really great location to downtown Flagstaff, Snowbowl, or hiking trails around Flagstaff.

This is a cool little property close to everything, yet feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommended.

This wonder land was inspired by fishing camps in Mexico, tropical islands in Asia, and youth hostels all over the world. I am a retired landscaper who loves plants. I especially like to share my property with those who like to cook and eat outside, play in the water and in boats. I enjoy hosting for local meditation groups, art and yoga retreats, musical events , reunions and occasional weddings. In between events I rent the cabana by the pond, the guesthouse, and occasionally an RV space.
I love seeing people of all ages become childlike as they relax into this little hidden gem of a tropical paradise in Flagstaff!
