This is a room with service. The room is cleaned on a daily basis (or if you don't want that, then you can set the schedule). I also give tour of Dar es Salaam for $30 a day (Guide Fee). It's a low-cost tour using public transport.
It's a serviced room. Very clean. Quiet. Air-conditioned.
Guest will have access to FREE Wi-Fi, lounge and dining area.
Interaction with guests
Not often. But I am always a phone call away and will show up if there's any problem or if guest want a guided tour of the city or the country.
Other things to note
Large denomination USD notes ($50 and $100) attract higher value than lower denominations ($1, $5, $10 and $20). Also only USD notes printed in 2006 or later are accepted in Tanzania.
No pesky rules. Just be civil/courteous and be yourself. Most important have fun.

I am Fred. Dar es Salaam is my home town, so you will be in good company as my guest. I am a fellow traveler too, having stamped my feet in Europe, China and Africa. Hopeful we'll exchange some travel tales.
And if you come alone and would like group safaris I can arrange those too. After all who would understand you back home if you told them that you came to Tanzania and never went on a Safari?
