My place is close to Eldorado Canyon State Park, natural spring pool, rock climbing, hiking trails, fly fishing and Boulder. This is the historic 1950's post office beautifully remodeled, situated on a magical spacious property. You’ll love the deck overlooking the river, the sound of rushing water, the kitchen, high ceilings, views, coziness, the Eldorado spring water from the tap, the artistic shower. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets).

The house was perfect just as described, very relaxing very tranquil, very fresh and clean. Short drive to Boulder and shopping. Very close to hiking and rockclimbing. Hope to go back again soon!

Very peaceful, cozy, and relaxing! Karl's place was super comfortable for two people (maybe three if someone doesn't mind a hammock to sleep in). With a beautiful stream running nearby and well-designed cabin (including a washer/dryer), we felt it was home away from home. The beautiful scenery of El Dorado Canyon SP was right outside the window and also 10 minute drive to Boulder's city center We appreciated the nice touches that Karl provided regarding the history of the cabin and navigating the surrounding areas .

Karl's place offers easy and quick access to Eldorado Canyon State Park and Boulder, but importantly a great place to chill out off the beaten path with organic and positive vibe.

Karl's place was as advertised. Lovely cabana with great kitchen right on South Boulder Creek. Eldorado Springs is spectacular with much history and this is 10 minutes to Boulder. Sleeping with creek right outside the back door is lovely and the deck overlooking creek a few feet below is special. Thumbs Up!

Sweet little cabin just a ~1/4 mile from the state park and its magnificent hiking trails as well as a couple minutes from some other scenic walking trails. It sits on a rushing creek that is the perfect backdrop for relaxing, reading, enjoying a cup of coffee or a good nap. We enjoyed some great meals in Boulder 15 minutes away as well as some awesome hiking in Boulder and at the Eldorado Canyon State Park. The cabin sits right off the road but we were never bothered by any traffic. Awesome location. The water heater provides lots of very hot water which was fantastic at the end of a long day. Our review lost one star for cleanliness--we bought a couple candles and left the windows open to freshen the smell and washed all of our dishes before using them for the first time as they were visibly dirty. Otherwise, loved everything!

What a treat to get an opportunity to score such a sweet last-minute booking at Karl's place in Eldorado Canyon! My husband, pooch and I came over from the Western Slope to see some music and eat some good food in Boulder. We were stoked to have such a peaceful and conscientiously-appointed place to rest after spending our days in/around Boulder, a short 10 minute drive from the canyon. Karl's place is an awesome jumping-off point to explore Eldorado Canyon State Park (a 5 minute walk away!) and all the other local trails just up the road. We indulged in lots of time on the porch just listening to the creek. Sweet sweet place. Thank you again, Karl, for having us and our dog, Shaney. :)
