Merle is an excellent host and has done an amazing job building a spectacular B&B. The house is enormous and immaculately restored. The check-in was very easy and the spaces comfortable. The back balcony has a good view of the river and the neighbourhood has lots of charatcer and is very diverse. All around an excellent experience!

Loved this super cute, historic spot. Easy walk to the downtown area. Merle was an amazing host and had everything covered, from extra towels to a guest tag system to breakfast every am! Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I spent two nights with Merle and absolutely loved it. The home is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Merle could not have been a better host. My husband and I ate at the waterfront both nights, and it was so wonderful to be able to walk the short few blocks instead of needing to drive. Merle's husband is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the town and told us a bit about its past and the history of the house. If I'm not mistaken, it was the fourth house to every be fully electrified by Edison. Crazy! We highly recommend staying with Merle!

Merle owns a beautifully restored home. It is lovingly curated with good historical and aesthetic sense. She was a gracious, open, and thoughtful host. She let me borrow her iron and ironing board after travel had wreaked havoc on my linen dress. I couldn't have had a better time staying there and her house is gorgeous! It's more like a 4-5 star hotel!!! Would stay there again in a heartbeat! Complimentary water, trail mix, a kitchenette on the third floor. It really goes on and on.

We had a wonderful stay, lovely hosts and a gorgeous home that shows a lot of attention to detail in restoring it to its original beauty. The home is on a nice block a very short walk to a row of restaurants and bars. Close to Dia Beacon and Storm King for easy and fun day trips. Thank you!
