Overall my stay was extremely pleasant. The apartment felt very comfortable and was clean when I arrived. The location was perfect as it was only 2 blocks away from Penn station and the subway. The apartment came equipped with all basic amenities including Wi-Fi and a Washer/Dryer. For most of my stay I did not need to contact Michael, as everything was always in order, but when I did he was prompt with his replies. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area so if you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask him. I highly recommend booking this apartment if you ever need a place to stay in NYC.

Response from Michael:
I enjoyed hosting Ramon and was happy to meet some of his family the day he checked in. Ramon arrived and departed on time, communicated well, got along well with his neighbors and left the apartment tidy and in good condition. I would recommend Ramon as a guest and would be happy to host him again in the future.

Michael was very kind and easy to contact by phone and message. I am not good at English, but he patiently listened what I said. As it became cold, I asked for a blanket. It prepared soon. The room had towels, detergent and dishes and cooking tools enough. There was a washing machine ,it was very helpful. I spend good time in NY city.

The apartment was fine, but I did have a frustrating experience with Michael. His cleaning lady canceled on the day I was supposed to switch apartments. He didn't know how to handle the situation and ended up getting really stressed out. He told me I should get a hotel room instead but refused to refund my money. Eventually he found another cleaning person, but he was really upset with me for some reason. Even though I was trying to help him out (I canceled my plans that day to be around the apartment so that I could help with the move) he was incredibly rude to me.

For the price and location, it's hard to beat, but sometimes it was hard to get in touch with Michael. Overall a decent AirBNB experience.

I moved to Manhattan almost right after graduating college and have since lived in almost every neighborhood. I am a member of several local organizations for more than a decade. I own properties in 3 different Manhattan neighborhoods.
I enjoy skiing, boating, billiards and tennis and have recently enjoyed a beginning in yoga. I would like to re- take up racquetball and golf which I used to play when I had more time and I love to travel.
