Interaction with guests
We are long-time Palo Alto and Bay Area residents, and are more than happy to give tips and advice about local attractions, restaurants, etc.
Other things to note
This is truly a stunning room, designed by one of Palo Alto's premiere architects. He also designed the Lucie Stern Community Center, the President Hotel, the Palo Alto Post Office, the old police and fire station (now a senior citizen’s center), and much of the 500 block of Ramona Street. We should mention that there is one step leading up to the room, and once inside, there is one more step down into the room.
We expect appropriate reasonable quiet behavior. We don't allow smoking or pets. For those with bikes, we have a covered place outside where you can store it and ask that you don't bring it into the room.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
We are a working couple, both kids are now in college, which we will hope will allow time to host guests in this lovely room that really doesn't get much use. We are happy to provide info about the area to make your stay enjoyable. Palo Alto is an awesome town - we've both lived here most of our lives and love it.
