We had a fantastic stay and regret that we only booked for one night. All the positive reviews of others are true. Ilaria is a great cook, so get her to cook dinner for you! The whole place has a wonderful and almost magical atmosphere. Ilaria is a great host and very nice person. The room we had was great, good beds, very quiet and clean. I was afraid that we would be disappointed because our standards are high and we are good cooks ourselves, but, no, it was even better then we hoped for. If we get a chance to go back to Italy one day, I would definitely book Ilaria's place again, but then for a lot longer!

I loved this place. I liked the peace and quite and llaria was a perfect host and her lasagne was the best.

We had a lovely time at Ilaria's place, sadly we didn't meet Ilaria but were well looked after by Leo who is an amazing chef. We enjoyed three evening meals which were very varied and included many ingredients from the garden as well as excellent local wine. The breakfasts were also impressive. A lovely area with beautiful countryside - the waterfall is worth finding although the water is a little chilly at this time of year.!.

We had a wonderful time at Luna di Quarazzana. Leonardo was a fantastic host and chef. We had three wonderful dinners and one night we had a cooking class. Our room was very nice and Ilaria's farm and farm animals were great. Every day we explored the surrounding area, hiking and taking in the beauty. One day we drove to Lucca and also explored the Castello in Fivizanno. We also hiked to a waterfall and our last day we drove to Porto Venere to visit. We would like to return with my son and daughter soon! Thank you again Ilaria and Leonardo! Ciao Ci vediamo!

Ilaria is a fabulous host! Super kind and generous with suggestions and ideas of things to do and places to visit. The food is outstanding! Super fresh, creative and delicious. The tiny hamlet that is home to Ilaria's B&B is interesting and fun to explore.

Ilaria is truly a lovely and kind person. She is so caring and sweet and the breakfast they serve is so good! There were a few things that were really hard for our trip, and I thought I would write them out here. If I were going to book these are the things I wish I would have known. 1. This is not an ideal place to stay if you are visiting Cinque Terre. It will come up in the search. It will take you at least an hour and a half to get up the mountain. The city is also further on from the city it is listed in (at least 7 more miles up a steep mountain). 2. The GPS will lead you up a mountain on the tiniest streets that are quite dangerous if you are in anything larger than a small car. 3. On the listing it says you get the ENTIRE place to yourself. This is not true. There will be other guests there staying as it is an actual B&B. Thus you won't have access to a kitchen, and it will be hard to have your whole family together. We were a group of 13 people and thought we had the place to ourselves, but we didn't. 4. They put my sister in a house that was down a steep hill and not part of the actual airbnb. Her water didn't work the first day and they were unable to flush the toilet and there were animals roaming about and a scorpion in her room. I want to make it clear that Ilaria tried to help with all of this and was so kind and attentive about it. 5. The internet only works in one room. The power went out at 11pm when I was in the shower one night and there really isn't anyone to ask for help after that time with waking people up and everything. This space is truly for those who want to stay in the mountains and is comfortable with a true farm environment with all it's quirks. I think for smaller groups it would be fine.

It's a journey to get to this small mountside hamlet so we decided to stay in the area and hike the Alpine pass nearby. With Llaria's directions, we found gorgeous hiking trails that felt like scenes from Sound of Music. Then to return to the gourmet dinner prepared by her family made for an amazing and memorable day. We were glad we stayed 2 nights and having dinner onsite both nights was the right way to go. Virtually all items are organically grown on their own property. Simply lovely in a rustic way.
