I'm an artist and a retired lawyer recently relocated from Palm Beach to Kinston with my partner. We believe you should have the conveniences of home - a table by the bed, a light you can turn off without getting up, Kleenex, plenty of fresh towels. Also, your room will be freshly cleaned before you arrive. You won't find any gross, hairy soap bars here but the house is well over 100 years old so there are some "funky/charming" aspects, like climbing into a claw foot tub. (Yes it has a shower too)
Recently my dad told me that two sets of my great-grandparents ran tourist homes in the 1930s so I seem to come by this genetically. On the other hand, my partner Jorge is from NYC so, combined with his natural shyness, you aren't likely to see him often.
We are joined by Coco, a crazy rescue dog you are unlikely to see, and two cats, Krishna and Happy. I also use the space for art, aromatherapy, and spirituality retreats. There could be a workshop during your time here.
