The Artist's Loft is a private 1 bedroom apartment with queen size bed and full-size comfortable pull-out couch in the living room to sleep up to 4 adult guests, and we can have a pack-n-play or twin air bed brought in for up to 5 guests. Beautiful, unique, spacious, and is located at the gateway to the outdoor adventures of the St Croix Valley!

The space

Truly the most unique place you might ever stay in! Mosaic tiles, original turn-of-the century cabinets and sink, artistic rustic touches everywhere. But, with modern conveniences like a Keurig machine, microwave, flat screen tv with cable, gas fireplace, shower in the claw-foot tub, and of course, a luxurious bed and linens.

Interaction with guests

We are here for you if you need us but otherwise, this is a completely private stay.

Other things to note

Bothy Cafe has recently opened in the Luminaries Building which is directly below the Artist's Loft. Their hours are 11 am - 8 pm every day of the week except Monday. There is no elevator to get to the second floor apartment and please be careful on the outside metal steps. Please plan accordingly. You will be given the option while staying in the Artist's Loft to use a keycard for the local Snap Fitness (5 minutes drive away) in either St Croix Falls or Dresser/Osceola. You will not need to "sign up for anything" or speak to anyone there, the keycard will be provided for you when you check in and you must return it to the Loft otherwise we will need to charge you $25 for a lost keycard.

Nice central location! We were in town for a wedding and just needed a place to crash. This was a great place to stay and couldn’t have been easier.

Absolutely wonderful. We were in town for a wedding at Chateau Saint Croix and this couldn't have been a better choice. Spacious living area, comfortable bed, nice water pressure. It was absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend!!!

We truly enjoyed the Artist's Loft unique and creative decor and the St. Croix Falls area. Amy had a folder waiting for us with great local tips. Group on has some winery and brewery events for those who like local brews. The cute shops downtown were fun to visit. We found a Farmer's Market by the library and got some great local greens, cheeses, and jams that contributed to the meals we created in the Loft's well stocked kitchen. We sat on the steps and watched birds soar on the air currents, we had slushies on the patio, and explored the area. There are some great hikes, and local ice cream shops to enjoy afterwards. There's also an excellent bead shop across the river in Taylor's Falls, and many antique shops, and great hand made goods can be found. We can honestly recommend the area, and the Artist's Loft for a great stay. A+++!

Amy's Loft is exactly as described. Unique. Creative. Full kitchen for dining in. Well equipped with wifi, extra towels and bedding, blenders, dishes and cooking gear (even blender and crockpot) - everything there. Factor in the stairs when booking if you have any limitations. They are fairly steep inside and out (I give the thumbs up for extra exercise on my trips!). Amy and Angel are great about communicating and following up. Very responsive. Nice Indian restaurant next door and cafe down the street. Loft off the Main Street in renovated municiple building ... Fun! This is my second time with Amy. I highly recommend you stay with her if visiting St. Croix Falls!

The Artist's Loft is unique and quaint. The private entrance is very nice as you can come and go as you like. The location is ideal for experiencing a combination of outdoor adventures and antique shopping! The Vegetarian, located a few doors down, came highly recommended and had excellent food!
