Maria's place is in the best location a person could hope for. It is just less than a football field from the metro, it is less than a football field from an amazing array of cafes, bakeries, bistros, high end restaurants, and food markets. The apartment is small but on the first floor, so not many stairs to climb. The walls are cinder block and you can't hear anything from any of the neighboring apartments. Though throughout Copenhagen on Friday people are out late. The court yard is beautiful, filled with life, children playing.
The bathroom is tiny - the shower is only separated from the rest of the restroom by a shower curtain- so no baths, and you'll need to wipe up the water from the floor. This is not a problem at all, but just remember to pick up the bath mat before showering. You'll also want to bring clothing with you to the shower, as there's an only lightly blinded glass door that shows into the living room between the bedroom and the bathroom. The internet connection is good, (EMAIL HIDDEN) I had no trouble streaming 4k content. Her small TV has a Chromcast, so you can get an app to send netflix to the TV if you prefer. We just used our iPad pro.
The water from the tap is not what I'm used to in the US, but by the end of my time there I really came to love it, the bed, blankets, pillows, towels, and so on, were all incredibly soft and luxurious. She's got a great array of spices and cookware she let us use - all very high quality.
Maria herself was friendly, informative, and so helpful and prepared. Everything was ready for us and it all went very well. This was my first air B&B experience, and it went swimmingly.
