Cozy classic apartment at Torshov (central Oslo), 100 sq.m. from 1905. The apartment (and room) is airy and light due to high ceilings (>3.5 meters) and tall windows. It is cozy and unique since all the original details are kept such as wooden floors, stucco ceilings, cast iron fireplace (oven) etc. (and we love vintage furniture and quirky flea market finds).
The apartment has 3 bedrooms (1 for rent), shared living room, bathroom and kitchen, wifi and cableTV.
The private bed room is large, airy and cozy. It has a double bed, a sofa bed (double, with a comfortable mattress and easy assembly), desk, stereo and a chest of drawers
Shared living room with stereo, DAB-radio, TV (cable) and Blu-ray&DVD (we have an extensive collection..) The dining table is expandable and can seat >10 people.
Shared bathroom with shower, washing machine and tumble dryer
Shared kitchen with breakfast nook and modern appliances: Microwave, dishwasher, blender, juicer, coffeemaker etc.
Interaction with guests
We are looking forward to opening our home to guests.
We will most likely be home during your stay, but will of course stay out of your way should you want so. All interaction is up to you.
We will gladly give tips on what to do, where to go, what to eat - all things Oslo.
Other things to note
On weekdays we will be busy getting ready for school/work and will leave early. The bathroom and kitchen might be occupied.
Our daughter normally lives in the room, she hopes that you will respect her space.
