Would just like to say we thought our stay in your Air BnB was great! We especially loved being able to use the bicycles to get around. The traditional rustic look is perfect. Thank you for being quick and easy to communicate with! Thank you Yuki!

It's really great place to stay, and you can enjoy the old style and local building of Japan with good deal and amenity.

Yuki was wonderful and the place is quite nice but not a modern building. We were unlucky and the typhoon hit Japan so there was a storm and it was a bit scary being in a old building. If it wasn't for the storm this would have been a great place.

Nice place Japanese-style! It is very central and close to a central bus stop too from where everything can be reached quickly. We were traveling with a 5yo - the best place with kids is the river close to bus stop Kawaramachi Imadegawa. Actually, it's a good place to hang out and get in contact with the locals in general ...

This is the good place to enjoy a stay in a old fashioned Japanese house. Our kids really appreciated the experience. Unfortunately, due to the low temperature outside, the rooms without heather were cold. The place is also noisy due to the traffic in the avenue in front of the house. However, we had a good time in Yuki's house. Convenience stores are just a few minutes walk from. And many bus stops are nearby so you can reach every place of interest in Kyoto very easily.

This place definitely gave us a unique Japanese experience. The futons and tatami floor and kneeling tables made us feel like we had definitely stepped fully into another culture. That was great. Several shrines were in close walking distance, which was good. Definitely felt like a neighborhood where the locals lived, which was charming. The house could be challenging for taller people (I walked by head on the doorway a couple of times, despite doing my best to remember to duck). My only real complaint is that the pictures in the listing made the house look bigger than it really is. It's not tiny, but it's not quite as capacious as I imagined based on the pics. We had a group of 6, including four boys ranging from 11-16. We fit, but there was lots of sharing of sleeping areas, which was ok the couple of nights we were there. Might have been more challenging for a longer stay with a group that size. Yuki the host was very responsive and helpful/accommodating. We really appreciated that and highly recommend her place.
